"Appreciation of Tang Poetry" Qian Qi: Provincial Test Xiangling Drum Ser

Good drum cloud and Ser, often heard of the emperor's spirit.

Feng Yikong danced by himself, and Chu Ke was unbearable.

Bitter tune miserable golden stone, clear sound into the meditation.

Cang Wu came to complain, and Bai Zhi moved Fangxin.

The flowing water spread to Xiangpu, and the sad wind passed through the cave court.

Qu finally disappeared, and several peaks on the river were green.

As can be seen from the title of the poem "Provincial Examination", this is a trial poem. The title of "Xiangling Drum ser" was plucked from the sentence "Chu Ci Yuanyou" that "make the Xiangling drum squirm and make Hai Ruo dance Feng Yi".

The first two sentences of the poem are apt to praise Xiang Ling for being good at drumming, and the beautiful and beautiful music often haunts the ears. In the test poem, this is called a generalization.

The xiangshui goddess drummed and the music sounded, so the poet spread the wings of imagination, accompanied by xianle, circling back and forth. That song, how touching! It first attracted the water god named Feng Yi, making him can't help but dance on the water. In fact, Feng Yi did not really understand the feelings of grief and misery hidden in the beautiful music, and this kind of joyful dance was in vain. But those "Chu Ke" knew the heart of Xiang Ling, including of course Jia Yi of the Han Dynasty, and the people who had been degraded to travel south and passed through Xiangshui in the past, how could they not feel very sad when they heard such a mournful music!

Listen, the tune is so deep and mournful that it is mournful even if it is as solid as a golden stone; and its clarity and loudness can be transmitted to the endless firmament.

Such a beautiful and mournful music reaching the Cangwu Wilderness must have alarmed the spirit of Emperor Shun on the Nine Ridges Mountain, and he might rush to the top of the Xiang River to listen to it! The fragrant herb, Bai Zhi, would be touched and spit out its fragrance more and more.

The music flutters on the water, and the vast banks of the Xiang River are immersed in beautiful melodies. The vast Xiangshui Water echoed with mournful music, and it merged into a sad wind and flew over the Eight Hundred Mile Dongting Lake.

The four rhymes in the middle, a total of eight sentences, the poet with amazing imagination, vigorously depict the magical power of xianglingser song. This makes the poem avoid a dull narrative and appear magnificent and vivid.

However, even better is the last two sentences: "At the end of the song, no one is seen, and there are several peaks on the river." "The above article closely follows the topic and renders it repeatedly, and has already described the Xiangling Drum Ser to the fullest. Listening to the wonderful song, I want to see the Yi people, so the poet turned his pen sharply and pointed directly to the beautiful and mysterious Xiangjiang goddess: "The song ends with no one seeing", only hearing its voice, not seeing the Yi people, giving people a kind of confusing confusion, which can really be said to be the stroke of God. What is even more charming is that after "people are not seen", it ends with "several peaks on the river". The reason why these five words are well written is because the world of xiangling drums and ser, which is like a real and colorful world, disappears in an instant, making people return to the real world. This real world is still the Xiang River, or the mountains and rivers where Xiang Ling is located. However, a river is like a belt, several peaks are like dyes, and the scenery is so idyllic, leaving people with a leisurely nostalgia.

The trial poems have various limitations, often binding the talents of the scholars. In this poem, he gallops his imagination and enters the heavens and the earth, as if entering the realm of no one. The invisible music has been vividly expressed here, becoming a thing that can be seen, heard, and felt. Finally, it suddenly closed, and the mind was long, and it was even more intriguing.

In the twelfth year of the middle school (858), the entrance examination was held, and Tang Xuanzong asked the examiner Li Fan: If there are duplicate words in the examination poems, can they be admitted? Li Fan replied: In the past, Qian Qi tried "Xiangling Drum Ser" to have repeated words, and occasionally you can make an exception. It has been a hundred years since Tianbao, who was in the twelfth year of junior high school, and Qianqi is still a recognized model for test poems.
