Most of the fans of the Middle Tang Dynasty poet Qian Qi came from his trial poem "Provincial Trial Xiangling Drum ser":

Good drum cloud and Ser, often heard of the emperor's spirit. Feng Yikong danced by himself, and Chu Ke was unbearable. Bitter tune miserable golden stone, clear sound into the meditation. Cang Wu came to complain, and Bai Zhi moved Fangxin. The flowing water spreads to Xiaopu, and the sad wind passes through the cave court. Qu finally disappeared, and several peaks on the river were green.

This arrangement of five words and six rhymes is the most common ancient imperial examination poem (test poem). When it comes to exams, not making mistakes is the most important point, so at this critical moment, it is difficult for poets to write good works. Like the final of the Football World Cup, it is rare to play a wonderful performance. And Qian Qi's poem is a superb work in the trial poem.

However, today's main study is a seven-law poem of Money, let's see, if you want to write poetry to please others, how to subtly flatter and compliment, but do not make people feel numb. Of course, we must first understand the life of Qianqi.

Qian Qi (722?-780, date of birth and death is doubtful) was a Wuxing native, with the character Zhongwen. He was actually as active in the Sheng Tang Dynasty as Du Fu Wang Wei and others, and he was a jinshi of the ninth (also said ten years) of Xuanzong Tianbao.

During the Tang Dynasty, there are ten talents in the Great Calendar, Qian Qi is one of them, and the Daizong Emperor Dahe from the beginning of the Great Calendar to the end of Emperor Wenzong(766-835), a total of 69 years, was divided into the Middle Tang. Therefore, he is often considered a poet of the Middle Tang Dynasty. During the Anshi Rebellion, Qian Qi fled abroad, and after Emperor Suzong returned to Chang'an in 757, Qian Qi served as a lieutenant of Lantian County, and often sang with Wang Wei, who lived in seclusion in Zhongnan Mountain. After the second year of Baoying (763), he entered the dynasty as a Sixun member Wailang and Sifeng Langzhong, and finally examined Gonglangzhong and Taiqing Palace envoys.

Qian Qi's son Qian Hui's political status is much higher than that of his father, and a story of Qian Qi is recorded in the Old Book of Tang and the Biography of Qian Hui:

Qian Hui, Zi Wei Zhang, Wu County. From the father, Tianbao ascended to the throne for ten years. Five words of poetry. At the beginning of the village recommendation, sending his family to the rivers and lakes, tasting the solo chanting of the moon and night in the guest house, the people who heard the people chanting in the court said: "At the end of the song, no one is seen, and several peaks on the river are green." Stunned, the photographer looked at it, saw nothing, thought it was a ghost, and zhiqi crossed. In the year of the test, Li Wei's "Xiangling Drum Poem" had the word "Qing" in the title, which was based on the ghost ballad cross as the ending sentence, and the deep Jiazhi was called the absolute song. It is Shi Dengdi, the secretary of the provincial school secretary. In the Great Calendar, ten people from the same generation as Han Hong and Li Duan, all of whom were able to write poetry, entered and exited the gate of Guiyou, and were called "Ten Talents".

Qian Qi's two most praised poems are: Qu Finally No One Sees, And There Are Several Peaks and Green Peaks on the River. However, many people say that it comes from ghosts and monsters.

In addition to his son Qian Hui, Qian Qi also has a nephew who is famous, that is, a great calligrapher: Huai Su (common surname Qian, the character Zangzhen), "Tang Caizi Biography" praises Qian Qi "in a discipline, the stage name is out, but it is still good." ”

Although Qian Qi's official position was not very high, his poetry was prominent. According to the Song Dynasty Qian Yi's "New Book of the South":

In the great tradition, since the prime minister has sent an envoy to be a shepherd, there is no money to start, And Lang Shiyuan poetry ancestors have sent people, and the times have been despised.

If the officials of the Tang Dynasty left the capital, there was no money to start or Lang Shiyuan to write poems to send, which was a very faceless thing.

Ge Lifang's "Rhymes with Yang Qiu" records:

Qian Qi and Lang Shiyuan are equally famous, and the people of the time say: "There are Shen and Song in the front, and there are rich and lang in the back." ”

However, Ge Lifang was very dissatisfied, thinking that Lang Shiyuan was far inferior to Qian Qi, and he also gave several examples:

How dare Lang hope for money! The poem "Zhongshu Meets the Rain" reads: "The clouds rise seven times, and the rain blows nine doors." "Feast Li Prison House" Yun: "The evening bell passes through the bamboo quiet, and the drunkard is late to the flowers." "After the Dismissal" Yun: "Qiu Tang entered the idle night, and Yun Yuesi left his home." "To the Rain" cloud: "Life is uncertain, and the cloud of sorrow is not open." It can also be described as a strange sentence. Does the Shiyuan poem have such a sentence? "Gifting the Shaofu New Addition to Jiangnan Wei" Yun: "The road is usually followed by bamboo shadows, and people are mostly in the mountains." "Title King Jiyou Half Day Village Farewell Industry" Yun: "Changxi South Road is a group of people, and half a view of the east neighbors is a number of homes." What a word! Yu read his poems, but he did not see anything gratifying, thinking that he could not know far enough.

Ge Lifang gave an example of Qian Qi's verses and Lang Shiyuan's verses to compare, Lang Shiyuan's few sentences are indeed unremarkable, far less than Qian Qi's few sentences. However, the field of horse racing, not necessarily a good horse comparison.

The person who really joined Qian was Liu Changqing (c. 726 - c. 786), and later generations often used qian and Liu to cite poems:

The poems to Qian and Liu reveal the face of The Tang Dynasty. Qian Cai is far less than Liu, but his poems still have the legacy of the Tang Dynasty. Ming Hu Yinglin 'Poetry》

Tianbao returned, Qian Qi, Liu Changqing and Ming Yushi, and the former families were really winged, and their character was also similar. As many as they are endowed, as wonderful as they are, or as they are excessive. "Tang Poetry Collection" (Ming) high handle

Hu Yinglin believes that Qian Qi is far inferior to Liu Changqing, but Qian Qi's poems still have a lot of Grand Tang style. Later generations often compare with Wang Weilai:

Zhongwen Wuyangu is like a right beggar, and Qingxiu is even worse. However, the right one is so high, can rush and sum, can be thick also. "Tang Poetry Bejue" ((Qing) Shen Deqian

Zhongwen poems are like zhizhu spring color, exquisite and dusty, after the right cheng, only one person. (Qing) Qiao Yi 《大哩诗略》

After the Flourishing Tang Dynasty, at the beginning of the Middle Tang Dynasty, for a time xiongjun, there was no money or Liu. However, the five words are exquisite, and the five words and deeds are solid, and as for the seven words and songs, they are independent and ancient, and have been occupied by Du Gong, and Zhongwen and Wenfang are all right and yu Boer. "Shizhou Poetry" (Qing) Weng Fanggang

Weng Fanggang said that Qian Liu's five-word poems did inherit the standards of sheng tang, but the seven words could not be compared with Du Fu. Qian Qi and Liu Changqing were just the aftermath of Wang Wei.

When Qian Qi was not going well in the imperial examination, he once wrote a poem dedicated to a Zhongshu Sheren surnamed Pei. In the Tang Dynasty, Zhongshu Sheren was a "vassal" at the emperor's side, and the actual scope of power was very large.

The purpose of this poem is actually very obvious, that is, to go through the back door and let the other party help themselves. Many people have written this kind of dry poetry, such as Meng Haoran mentioned in the previous article, who wrote a five-law poem to Zhang Jiuling, the prime minister, "Wangdongting Lake presents Zhang Cheng Xiang":

August lake level, the meaning of the virtual mix is too clear. Vapor cloud Mengze, waves shake Yueyang City. If you want to help, you will be ashamed of the saints. Sit and watch the anglers, and envy the fish.

Meng Haoran said, I want to cross the river without a boat, but it is a shame that during the Shengming period, it was a shame not to be an official to repay the Ming Lord, and now I can only watch others fish, and I have envy. However, Zhang Jiuling did not help much. Meng Haoran entrusted the non-human beings to cloth all their lives.

Let's look at Qian Qi's song "Gift to the Pei Sheren"

In February, the yellow warbler flew up to the forest, and the spring city was forbidden to be yin and yin. The long music bells are exhausted, and the willow color of the dragon pond is deep in the rain. Yang and do not scatter the hatred of the poor, Xiao Han long cherished the heliocentric. The dedication has not been encountered for ten years, and the shame will be white hair to Hua Hao.

The purpose of this poem is the last sentence: shame will be white hair to Hua Hairpin. My hair was all white, but I hadn't become an official yet. The words are very clear, are you going to help?

Why do I need help? Because: Dedication has not been encountered for ten years.

There are many stories of dedication, the earliest of which was Sima Xiangru to Emperor Wu of Han to present "Zi Xuan Fu" and "Shanglin Fu", and later Yang Xiong presented "Ganquan Fu", "Yu Hunting Fu", and "Chang Yang Fu" to Emperor Hancheng, and Du Fu, who was at the same time as Qian Qi, also presented "Three Great Gifts" to Tang Xuanzong.

Dedication for ten years has not met, which means that I am very talented, but Huai Cai has not met, which is similar to Meng Haoran's meaning of "wanting to help without a boat, and living in shame and saintly ming".

Why is it the Pesher and not the others? The first four sentences euphemistically write the reason, although the first four sentences of Qian Qi write the scene, but through the writing of the scene can see that the status of the Peishe people is different:

The first two sentences are clear by writing the time and place of the scenic spots, and the three or four sentences are still written scenes, with hearing and vision. The main images of the first four sentences can be seen in the honor of the Peishe people: Shanglin, the Forbidden Purple City of Spring City, the Changle Bell, and the Dragon Pond.

Shanglin Garden is a palace garden expanded by Emperor Liu Che of the Han Dynasty on the site of the old Qin Garden, referring to the royal garden. In ancient times, Ziweiyuan was used as a metaphor for the emperor's residence, so the palace ban was called "Purple Forbidden". Changle Palace, also the palace of the Western Han Dynasty, is said to have han xin here by Lü Hou. Emperors after Liu Bang moved to Weiyang Palace, and Changle Palace was dedicated to the empress dowager. The Dragon Pond is the pool of Longqing Palace.

But when a person is written between these places, it naturally shows the nobility of identity.

Qian Qi's first four sentences flattered Pei Sheren by writing Jing, and then said that he "Yang and do not scatter the poor way to hate, Xiao Han long cherishes the heliocentric." I have the heart to make progress, but "ten years of dedication" is of no use, only time is wasted.

Qian Qi later passed the examination and the first, I don't know if he was cared for by this Pei She.

Shoot a person's ass, if it has great achievements, you may wish to write it. If there are no meritorious or indifferent to fame and fortune, you can write about some people with whom he associates, or compare him to some sage to raise his stature. This is actually similar to the meaning of rubbing a photo of a celebrity today. For example, Shen Liao's "Spring Festival Gala Even Question" of the Song Dynasty:

Fortunately, there are five willows of Tao Gong, and I do not love the thousand trees and flowers of Heyang. For several days, the east wind blew out, and Xiao Xuan was lonely and slanted to the west.

Qian Qi's activity location for writing about people is also a method, just like everyone goes to the Louvre, the White House to take photos and send a circle of friends, and sending a photo to a certain place seems to improve their status and taste.

Poetry should arouse the reader's association, so the imagery such as seasons, characters, allusions, and places in the poem are deliberately selected by the author, and then carefully combined to express the inner meaning of the poet.

At the end, the second rhyme money from "Gift que under the Pei Sheren" to compose a seven laws, the money is a bent waist (lost sticky), the old street rules a little:

The beautiful spring flowers are full of forests, the dragon pond paintings are hanging in the shade, the buildings are hidden from each other, and the immortals are jagged and the phoenix is deep. The rain and dew have been stained with evergreen willows, and the rabbit sunflower has not changed to the yang heart. Only can Sima Qua Wenfu, sideburns Xiao sparse can still be hairpin.
