There is a Dalin Temple in Lushan, where Bai Juyi wrote a poem: "In April in the world, the peach blossoms of the mountain temple begin to bloom." Long hate spring returns to nowhere, do not know to turn into this." Along with the Name of Dalin Temple, there are Xilin Temple (this picture shows Xilin Temple Pagoda) and Donglin Temple. Donglin Temple is called Donglin Temple because it is east of Xilin Temple. It can be seen that the Xilin Temple was built in front of it. Speaking of which, there is another story.

In the first year of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (366), Guanglu Qing Tao Fan helped Hui Yong Zen master build the Xilin Temple. Hou Huiyong's friend Hui Yuan came to visit and wanted to invite Hui Yong to go to Luofu Mountain in Guangdong to practice together. However, Lushan Mountain was so beautiful that he was reluctant to go, and he prayed to the Buddha. Hui Yong took him to xilin temple. (This picture is near Donglin Temple)

In 384, Hui Yong asked Taishou to help Hui Yuan build Donglin Temple, which has since become the ancestral court of the Pure Land Sect of Buddhism (including China and Japan). (This is The Tallinn of Huiyuan Zen Master)

Zen master Hui Yuan was practicing here to teach the Fa, and many literati and Daoist friends came to meet him. But he sent a guest, never tiger creek. One day, Tao Yuanming and the Taoist monk Lu Xiujing came to visit, and the three of them talked very happily and could not bear to part ways. When sending the guests, it seemed that there were endless words, and unconsciously, they crossed the Tiger Creek, and there was a roar of the tiger in their ears, and they realized that Hui Yuan had broken the obsession of the Tiger Creek. The three laughed. Although this is a legend, it does not prevent future generations from recording it as an interesting thing. The Daxiong Treasure Hall of Donglin Temple hangs such a couplet:

Tiger Creek gathers three people, three people and three jokes; the lotus pond opens one leaf, and one leaf is the same. At first glance, how can you take a joke to rulai? Isn't it disrespectful? But after knowing this story, I felt that this was the true meaning of the couplet: do not seek the most neat battle, as long as the connotation is very deep.
