According to informed sources, Li Guohua, general manager of China Unicom, who has been serving for More than a year at China Unicom, retired today, and China Unicom has held a farewell retirement ceremony for him.

Li Guohua was born in March 1960, and this year he is exactly 60 years old, reaching retirement age.

Li Guohua came to China Unicom on July 19, 2018 to take office, and on the afternoon of that day, China Unicom held a leadership team (expanded) meeting to officially announce the candidate for the position of general manager of China Unicom, Li Guohua, the former general manager of China Post Group.

Earlier, on July 10, 2018, Lu Yimin, the former general manager of China Unicom, left his post and was transferred to China General Technology (Group) Holdings Co., Ltd.

Since then, Li Guohua has served as the general manager of China Unicom for more than a year, from the age of 58 to the age of 60 retirement, Li Guohua has also made his own contribution to China Unicom.

Li Guohua is a native of Jiangxi, graduated from Jiangxi Post and Telecommunications School in his early years, and served as deputy director of the Jiangxi Provincial Post and Telecommunications Administration. Later, he became the deputy director of the State Post Bureau in 2005, and until 2011, Li Guohua served as the general manager of China Post Group, deputy secretary of the party group, and later concurrently served as the secretary of the party group of China Post Group.

He grew up in Jiangxi with both Ke Ruiwen, chairman of China Telecom Group, but was older than Ke Ruiwen.
