In 1969, Nie Weiping went to Heilongjiang to join the team. In that barren black land, he stayed for 3 years. Although life was extremely hard, Nie Weiping believed that Beidahuang had honed his "realm" of The Way of Go.
In 1972, Nie Weiping returned to Beijing after ending his career as a young intellectual. Outside of work, his interests are in addition to Go and Go.
