County-level Rong Media Center reporter in action 丨 Li Yang: On the "battlefield" of anti-epidemic news, the pen shaft is like a "gun barrel"

RedNet Moment reporter Li Lu reported from Changsha

"Okay, I'll be there in a minute." At 3:30 p.m. on January 31, Li Yanggang, a reporter at the Zixing Rong Media Center, received an interview notice after writing the manuscript, and the community staff of Xinghua Road in Zixing City took the initiative to deliver food to the homes of the isolated citizens, which was Li Yang's third interview task on this day.

"At this time, the reporter should rush to the front, I am still a party member, and I should rush in front of my colleagues." In the face of the menacing epidemic situation, without too many concerns, Li Yang chose to use the pen shaft as a "gun barrel" to fight this epidemic prevention and control battle.

Give up the small family to take care of everyone

On January 25, the first day of the Lunar New Year, Li Yang, who had just eaten lunch in his hometown of Yizhang, received a call from the leader, asking him to return immediately and be ready for an interview at any time.

After determining that he had no contact with the people at the source of the epidemic and no physical discomfort, Li Yang immediately drove back to Zixing and threw himself into the propaganda front of epidemic prevention and control. Every day since then, whether in hospitals, farmers' markets, patrol bayonets, and community streets, You can see Li Yang carrying a camera to record the frontline work of epidemic prevention.

"Tired, definitely tired, but if we run one more draft, everyone will have more understanding of the current epidemic prevention and control situation." Li Yang said.

On February 1, Li Yang went to Luowei on duty at the bayonet to interview Deng Long, a police officer at the Dongjiang Police Station of the Municipal Public Security Bureau. Due to the needs of duty, Deng Long did not return home for 9 days from the Chinese New Year's Eve, this time his wife specially brought his daughter over to send him a change of clothes, watching the scene of Deng Long and his daughter meeting, Li Yang, who was recorded on the side, was also deeply touched.

During this time, Li Yang settled his three-year-old child in his grandparents' house, during which he only met once, facing the complex epidemic prevention and control situation, he was busy shooting and writing every day, while paying attention to the development of the epidemic, and there was no more energy to focus on the child.

"I really can't take care of it, and I'm also working hard for the old people in the family." Li Yang's heart was full of guilt. During this period, Li Yang wrote a total of 18 press releases, including 8 in provincial and municipal media, which effectively publicized the epidemic prevention and control work of Zixing.

Battle for "Husband and Wife"

Li Yang's wife, Hu Shilin, is also a journalist and is responsible for editing the content of the WeChat public account every day. After sitting in front of a computer for many years, she was less than 30 years old and developed symptoms of herniated discs and calcification of cervical ligaments.

During this time, Hu Shilin had to deal with more than 10 manuscripts a day, and in order to ensure that there were no errors, he often had to work until 10 p.m., until the WeChat content of the day was safely pushed, in order to breathe a long sigh of relief. Due to physical pain, she often didn't fall asleep until the second half of the night.

Although the two families work in the same unit, they are interviewing outside during the day and working overtime at night, and there are very few opportunities for two people to sit down and chat.

Although the jobs are different, the couple has been on the front lines for the common goal of fighting the epidemic.

In the Zixing Rong Media Center, the average age of 19 foreign front-line reporters is less than 30 years old, some of them are new fathers, and some have elderly people in their homes who need to be taken care of, but in the critical period of epidemic prevention and control, no one has taken leave, no one has retreated, and they have all taken the initiative to run on the front line of the epidemic, so that more advanced deeds of "civilian heroes" can be displayed in front of the screen, so that more ordinary people can learn the news of epidemic prevention and control in time.

"If this is a war, then we choose to stand with the people, rush to the front, fearless." Li Yang said.
