As the 2018 National Arts Fund Stage Art Creation Funding Project Song and Dance Drama "Changbaishan Arirang" poured into the painstaking efforts of all the cast and crew in Antu County, from creation to rehearsal to continuous polishing and upgrading, it can be said that the song and dance drama has undergone a gorgeous transformation again and again, and now appears in front of the audience with a more perfect image.
The song and dance drama "Arirang of Changbai Mountain" is based on the folk love myth and legend "Fairy and Woodcutter" inherited for thousands of years under Changbai Mountain, with four chapters: The Strange Fate of Tianchi, the Love of Heaven and Earth, the Sudden Change of Wind and Clouds, and the Sense of Sincerity, telling the story of the encounter, acquaintance, acquaintance, and lifelong life of fairies and woodcutters.
The drama is the first national song and dance drama in China to bring together the intangible cultural heritage of the Korean nationality, and it is a gorgeous chapter that inherits the essence of Chinese Korean culture.
According to Song Zheji, director of the Antu County Cultural Center, the song and dance drama skillfully integrates 15 Korean intangible cultural heritage items such as "Korean Folk Music Dance (Elephant Hat Dance)", "Korean Crane Dance", "Korean Top Water Dance", "Korean Tooth Clapping Dance", "Korean Traditional Wedding", "Korean Sleeve Throwing Dance", "Korean Masquerade Dance", "Korean Patriarch Encouragement" and so on, so that the song and dance drama has a strong Chinese Korean characteristic. Since its first performance in July 2017, the opera has been performed more than 50 times. The opera has also changed from six chapters at the beginning of the year to four chapters now.
