On October 15th, the "28th Arirang Folk Culture Festival of Yingkou City", sponsored by the United Front Work Department of the Yingkou Municipal CPC Committee and the Yingkou Municipal Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, and undertaken by the Ethnic Minority Culture and Art Museum affiliated to the Yingkou Public Cultural Service Center, was successfully held in Liaohe Old Street Cultural Square.
At the event, 8 non-governmental performance groups from The Korean Township of Yingkou City, the Korean Elderly Association of Bayuquan District, and the Xinguang Village of Shuiyuan Town, Dashiqiao City participated in the performance. Wonderful performances with national characteristics such as "Hand Encouragement", "Field Break" and "Arirang" were warmly welcomed by nearly 1,000 audiences at the scene. The Arirang Folk Culture Festival has been successfully held for 28 years, from the initial activities of 200 to 300 people to today, which has played an active role in promoting national unity and inheriting folk culture.
