In his later studies, Liu Fuzhi came into contact with many progressive books and periodicals, and also met a large number of progressive people, so Liu Fuzhi began to choose to give up his comfortable life, and officially threw himself into the revolutionary struggle Zhuo, in 1937 despite the opposition of his family came to Yan'an, and then successively studied at the Northern Shaanxi Public School and the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
In February 1938, Liu Fuzhi finally joined the great Communist Party of China as he wished, and Liu Fuzhi's starting point was still very high, because he had served as the secretary of Zhu De, Liu Bocheng, Deng Xiaoping and other heavyweight leaders, and Liu Fuzhi's ability was very strong, and the party spirit was very high, so the leaders still greatly appreciated Liu Fuzhi.
In the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Liu Fuzhi served in the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army, and his main task was to be responsible for fighting traitors and Japanese traitors, in addition to which he also participated in the rectification movement in Yan'an, and also opened up wasteland, produced, etc., anyway, he was a capable young party member.
After the founding of New China, Liu Fuzhi was also entrusted with important responsibilities, successively serving as deputy director of the General Office of the Ministry of Public Security of the Central Military Commission, deputy director of the General Office of the Ministry of Public Security of the Central People's Government, member of the party leading group of the Ministry of Public Security, and vice minister of public security.
During the period of exploration, Comrade Liu Fuzhi also suffered some hardships and was imprisoned, but he also allowed Liu Fuzhi to learn a lot of experience in struggle. After 1977, he was reactivated, worked in the Ministry of Culture for a time, and made important contributions to the innovative development of socialist cultural undertakings.
In 1983, Liu Fuzhi was appointed minister of public security again, and at that time a major event occurred in the whole country, that is, Deng Xiaoping proposed the 83 strike hard, that is, after entering the 80s of the last century, there were a large number of criminal activities in society, so the social order area really had to be paid attention to, and there were also many major illegal incidents, such as the "Shanghai Gongjiang Road Incident" and the "Northeast Second King Incident", so the 83 Strike Hard Came into being.
At that time, Liu Fuzhi, who was the minister of public security, was naturally the host of the 83 Strike Hard Crackdown, and naturally made a great contribution.
Later, Liu Fuzhi also successively served as political commissar of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, deputy secretary of the Central Political and Legal Commission, chief procurator of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and so on.
At 12:08 on August 25, 2013, Deng Xiaoping's secretary and former minister of public security, Liu Fuzhi, died in Beijing at the age of 96.
