Xinhua News Agency, Paris, April 23 (Reporter Zhang Han) The seventh leg of the second season of the FIA Formula E (FE) Championship was held at the Paris Invalides on the 23rd, and Chinese driver Ma Qinghua hit the wall with only 4 laps left in the race, and the Brazilian driver Di Gerasi, who is currently leading the driver list, finally won the championship under the protection of safety cars.

The circle race around the Les Invalides, a landmark in the heart of Paris, was Ma Qinghua's FE debut. DS Virgin Driver Sam Bird took pole position and the 15th place in the Ma Qinghua main race.

However, Bird's departure status is not even satisfactory, the total length of 1. The 93-kilometer track was overtaken by Di Grassi before the first lap, and the British driver finished in sixth place.

Audi Sport team Di Gerassy drove his ABT Schaeffler FE01 car all the way ahead, accumulating several laps of the fastest time, and the lead gradually expanded. However, on lap 41, Japan's Aguri Team replaced ma Qinghua, who was previously Mexican driver Duran, and when preparing to turn, an accident occurred and triggered the safety car, making Di Gerasy "forced" to win the championship under the leadership of the safety car.

It was Di Gerasy's third FE title this season, the first two times in Mexico at the end of last year and the sixth round at Long Beach earlier this month.

Behind Di Grassi, the competition for second place intensified and began to heat up with 12 laps left. In the end, Virgin's French driver Vinnie crossed the finish line in second place, and Renault's Swiss driver Bouhemi finished third.

This season's FIA Formula E Championship consists of 11 races, with the opening match in Beijing on 24 October last year, with 18 drivers from nine teams competing.

In the 2014-2015 season, FE made its debut as the only zero-emission world-class Formula E car, the opening match was also scheduled in Beijing, and at the last stop in London at the end of June last year, Brazilian driver Pigate Jr. won the championship with a total of 144 points.

Ma Qinghua made his F1 debut at the Monza circuit in Italy as an HRT team test driver in 2012, and then switched to The Carterham team after the dissolution of the HRT team at the end of that year, and appeared as a test driver at the Shanghai "Shang" circuit the following year.

In 2014, Ma Qinghua temporarily left the Formula circuit to represent Citroën Racing team in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), and won the Moscow championship in June of that year, becoming the first Chinese driver to win the International Automobile Federation (FIA) championship. Last July, he was on the WTCC podium again in Portugal after a year of waiting. (End)
