Future Racing has learned that Chinese driver Ma Qinghua will announce next Tuesday that he will join the restructured NIO 333 fe team for the sixth season of Formula E.
Ma Qinghua has driven the cars of Ajuri, Tiqi and Hara Nio laife in nine Formula E races, with the best result being 11th in the race 1 in London in 2016. This year, he drove an Alfa Romeo car to the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR), where he won the third leg of the Slovakia race and currently has 126 points, ranking 13th in the drivers' standings.
According to the plan, Ma Qinghua will use the No. 33 in the car of the Nio 333 fe team this time, and his teammate is the driver of the NIO fe team last season, Telvi, and the Briton born in 1987 will use the no. 3. In this way, the number of the two drivers will form "333".
The NIO 333 fe team was reorganized by Shanghai Lisheng Racing Culture Co., Ltd. to take over the original NIO fe team. According to the announcement of the resolution of the thirteenth meeting of the third board of directors of Lisheng, the team is under the umbrella of Brilliant in excellence co., limited (hereinafter referred to as "bie"), which was established by cao shan (Chinese named Cao Shan) on December 20, 2016 in Hong Kong, China.
According to the announcement, Lisheng will provide team operation services in the Formula E Championship event to BIE's subsidiary, Bie (uk), for a period of 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020, and in accordance with the operating service agreement, BIE (uk) will be required to pay a total fixed service fee (including tax) to Lisheng for a total amount of £800,000 (including tax). Bie is currently CEO by Wang Xiao.
In terms of racing, nio 333fe team will use motors and inverters from the Dragon team, and future racing cars understand that the team has already conducted road tests on the new car, because of the large number of technical parts replaced, the car in the sixth season is almost brand new.
