On November 13, the final of the Hubei Provincial People's Propaganda Contest was held in Wuhan, and Li Danxi, a music teacher at Yanglin Shuangjiakou Branch of Yucai Primary School in Tianmen City, won the third prize.
It is reported that the competition was jointly sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Poverty Alleviation Office. The Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Poverty Alleviation Office, and the Provincial Radio and Television Station conducted a preliminary evaluation of 64 works selected and sent by 17 cities and prefectures in the province and the Hubei branch of the CCB, and finally, 10 contestants, including Li Dan of Tianmen, entered the provincial finals. In the final, Li Dan relied on her propaganda work "I am willing to be a "lark bird" for poverty alleviation", which told her journey of participating in education and poverty alleviation, reflecting the moving story of a music teacher who was committed to poverty alleviation and winning the well-off, spreading the positive energy of Tianmen poverty alleviation, carrying forward the main theme of Tianmen's attack, telling the good story of Tianmen Ben Xiaokang, and finally won the third prize of this competition with a good score of 93.17 points.
In 2018, the Tianmen Municipal Education Bureau carried out poverty alleviation and education activities, and the counterpart of the Municipal Yucai Primary School helped Yanglin Shuangzhuangkou Primary School, and Li Dan volunteered to come to the school, and successively set up a school drum and trumpet team, a school choir, etc., to carry out public welfare performances and voluntary training for the villagers, and promote the school to be awarded the national intangible cultural heritage "Tianmen Folk Song Inheritance Base".
In recent years, Li Dan has been committed to "loving his hometown and singing his hometown" in his educational work, leading students to sing the beautiful Tianmen and singing a beautiful life, and has successively launched many local original songs sung with students such as "Tianmen My Hometown", "Tianmen Bridge" and "Colorful Tianmen" and filmed them into music television. Hello everyone, my name is Li Dan, and I am a music teacher at Tianmen Yucai Primary School. In September 2018, the Municipal Education Bureau decided to carry out poverty alleviation and education activities, and our Yucai Primary School counterpart helped Yanglin Shuangzhuangkou Primary School, which is a village primary school that was once closed, the school building is old, and teachers and students are gone.
I volunteered to come to Shuangjiakou Village to work as a music teacher for all grades of the school. Everything started from scratch, and I carried the electronic keyboard, carried the speaker, clipped the textbook, and wore the amplifier every day to teach. Looking at the children's thirst for knowledge, I decided to set up a school drum and trumpet team and choir, hoping that the children would learn to communicate through music, cultivate hobbies, and build self-confidence.
One day, several children from poor families in the village said to me, "Teacher, my mother won't let me join the choir, and rapping is useless!" "Teacher, my dad has bad legs and feet, let me go home and help with the work!" ......
I think that in front of music, every child is equal. On the way to learning music, poor children can not be less. I used my spare time to go into the homes of poor families again and again to promote my educational philosophy and pass on my musical dreams. Under my persuasion, more than 20 children from poor families in the village joined the drum and trumpet team and choir, and my music team flourished. The children play trumpets, sing folk songs, hum minor tunes, and rejoice. In the past, every timid and shy child became sunny and cheerful.
The song captivated the villagers, who often hummed softly outside the classroom, and the parents were no longer opponents, but became my biggest supporters. Under my guidance, the Villagers Choir was also formed! Every dusk, they spontaneously gather in the small square and practice their favorite songs with deep feelings. I also took the children to sing the beautiful Tianmen and sing the beautiful life, and successively launched "Tianmen My Hometown", "Tianmen Bridge", "Colorful Tianmen" and many other local original songs sung with the students, and filmed them into music television. (Kids, are we heavenly gate beautiful...) The landscape shows the Heavenly Gate, and the scenery is good everywhere... Melodious songs flutter over the village, nourishing everyone's soul and bringing strength and hope to poor households!
At the beginning of 2020, I actively participated in the prevention and control duty of Shuangjiakou Village, singing the original anti-epidemic songs of Tianmen City, "Beautiful Angel, Taihang Erlang" and "Thanks", I also guided students to sing "Mom and Dad, I Wait for You to Go Home" online. I am convinced that song is the spark of thought, the power to move forward, and the clarion call of battle!
After two years of joint efforts by me and all the staff, the school was renovated, and the student size reached nearly 400 people in 8 classes. The school has also been rated as the national intangible cultural heritage "Tianmen Folk Song Inheritance Base". In 2019, I was named "Tianmen Model. The most beautiful teacher", my children's musical works and I won the first prize, the best visual award and the best display award in the 2019 and 2020 Hubei Provincial Teachers' Morality and Teacher Style Exhibition Competition respectively.
The song sowed the seeds of spring in the hearts of the children and villagers. There is light in the eyes, a smile on the face, and love in the heart, in the beautiful land of Shuangzhuangkou Village, I am willing to be a "lark" for poverty alleviation, and continue to fly with hopes and dreams!
