--Huang Xing
In the history of China's modern revolution, Huang Xing is a figure of great influence. Huang Xing was the founder of the Xinhai Revolution, and together with Sun Yat-sen, he became a pioneer in overthrowing the Qing court's rule. The founder of the Republic of China, so the two are also called "Sun Huang". Although Huang Xing never held the supreme power of the Republic of China, he was indeed the initiator of many important revolutionary activities, and he experienced the risk of nine deaths many times, and even broke two fingers in the Huanghuagang Uprising. Although Huang Xing and Sun Yat-sen were good friends, there were also many differences in the concept of governing the country, but Huang Xing never used his position in the Kuomintang to confront Sun Yat-sen, but repeatedly took the initiative to give in and helped each other, which shows his single-minded desire to serve the public. Huang Xing's family training has only four words: "no self" and "steadfastness", although there are only four words, but it is the perception of his lifelong struggle and dedication to the affairs of his family and country, which is enough to make future generations feel admiration.

◎ No self. Selflessness is a Buddhist term that means that everything in the world is fluid and impermanent, and not only is there constant subtle changes in the physical body of man, but even the spiritual world has no fixed self-concept. This is selflessness based on the study of religious birth, but placing it in the category of entry into the world has a new meaning. In reality, the mind and mind are all related to the word life, and the idea of extinguishing nirvana is naturally not the most appropriate, but if you are obsessed with the self, you will also blind your eyes, confuse your mind, and make yourself fall into greater confusion. The selflessness of entering the world does not need to return one's mind to the void like the practice of birth, in fact, it is more like "looking down." Fame and fortune are material conditions that people cannot ignore in real life, but these material conditions are not only things in the body, but also very tempting to people, if you want to get rid of their wavering of their own spiritual will, the best way is of course to look down on themselves. Only in this way can we break through the level of physiological material desires, have a higher vision pattern, devote ourselves to greater ambitions, and be worthless of being a precious person.
◎ Solid. Honesty has the dual meaning of honesty and steadfastness, and throughout Huang Xing's many revolutionary movements in his life and never forget the original intention of the revolution, its meaning is more focused on the latter. Attaining the Tao and believing in the Tao are invaluable, but above this there is a higher realm and a higher realm. Although the doctrine of the sages is profound and subtle, after thousands of years of exploration and elaboration by many scholars and confucians, there are also many aspirants who have been widely known for thousands of generations, but there are very few aspiring gentlemen who really put it in their hearts and dare not or forget it. If those who ignore the principle of self-cultivation and moral cultivation are only minor sections, it is an inexplicable despicable act to turn their backs on the road that concerns the rise and fall of the country under the heavens. Even a wait-and-see attitude is a practice that is ashamed of the righteous path of the sages and is not worth advocating. Although the truth is well understood in the heart, it is impossible to test whether it is correct or not, nor can it test one's own virtue without practical action. Not knowing one's own virtue is also a manifestation of lack of self-knowledge, and a gentleman of the spirit will definitely not hesitate or accept it.

Merit does not have to be self-made, and fame does not have to be self-contained
People usually regard Sun Yat-sen as a thinker and Huang Xing as a doer. Huang Xing not only single-mindedly serves the country himself, but also often teaches his children in this way.
Because of Huang Xing's great achievements in the creation of the Republic of China, many people elected him as a leader. But Huang Xing refused to do so. His son Huang Yi'ou was puzzled by this, but Huang Xing said that "merit does not have to be self-made, fame does not have to be self-occupied", and launching the revolution is only for the sake of the country, and there is no need to mind the matter of power.
After the fruits of the victory of the Xinhai Revolution were obtained by Yuan Shikai, Huang Xing resigned many times to thank Yuan Shikai for the position he had conferred, and even returned all the gifts carefully prepared by Yuan Shikai, leaving only a few good horses. Huang Xing also told his son Huang Yiou that these gifts are all tools for Yuan Shikai to win people's hearts, and it is useless to leave them. But horses are necessary for future wars for the country, so they must stay.
