Yu Shiwei: A letter to young people: I don't want to do it and be laid off

I said the year before that our economy is about to decline, and we will not see a GDP growth rate of more than 7% in the next few years. Now that the world is entering a recessionary phase of the boom cycle, There is no need for China to be strong, because excessive pulling will have a worse lag effect.

Young people who are not satisfied in the workplace can be divided into two categories: one is that they are not interesting, and they do not have much money and want to resign. Second, there is no place to go, and it cannot be reused in the company.

Yu Shiwei: A letter to young people: I don't want to do it and be laid off

I first advise young friends not to change jobs often, rolling stones do not grow moss, this is the truth. Especially when the economy is not good, it is not easy to find a good job. Most of the bosses have bad tempers, are calculating, very realistic, and even very ruthless, because the company wants to survive. On the other hand, if the boss is a rotten good person, he doesn't care about everything, and he doesn't have any intentions, and the company is definitely not good, and it is easy to go out of business.

Don't look for a job too casually. Companies without interest, without development, without training, without institutions, without business channels, do not have to go. If you're looking for food to eat first, that's a different story. But have you been looking for a job for a decade or two to find food to eat? There are very few opportunities for people to change their destiny in their lifetime, don't waste years, and turn forty in the blink of an eye.

Whether we are struggling, not being reused, or unfortunately being laid off, we need to reflect on the following questions:

1. For the work I undertake, will I often think about whether there is a better and faster way?

2. Will I let my boss or supervisor think I am important? Am I useful to him?

3. Can I make my boss or supervisor say that if anything is handed over to me, he will be very relieved?

4. Will I often remind or suggest to the company how we should improve performance, how to prevent mistakes, and how to avoid risks?

5. Can I make colleagues in other departments, my own subordinates, customers, and external partners like me and be willing to partner with me?

6, am I the first official, so that the boss feels that I am very centripetal, thinking of the company every day?

I only learned in Japan that typhoon days do not take a holiday, if you feel that you can not go to school and work, you take leave, this centripetal force (not to talk about humanity for the time being) is very amazing. When I was working at JAL, Typhoon Sailoma suddenly made a U-turn and landed in Kaohsiung in 1977, and the Taiwanese employees were released home, and the Japanese and all the supervisors, including me, were on standby at the company. When I came home in the afternoon after the typhoon, the roof was gone. That month I was trained in a foreign country and was not at home.
