Han Lin'er, the King of Xiaoming, was an important figure in the peasant rebel army at the end of the Ming Dynasty.
He is important because he is a benchmark figure.

In the last years of the Yuan Dynasty, due to frequent natural disasters, the government was corrupt. As a result, the world is in turmoil. In such a situation, Han Santong turned out to be a world.
Although Han Santong himself had no culture, he was well versed in the propaganda of peasant uprisings. At this time, he did two important things: First, he used the White Lotus Sect to preach that Maitreya Buddha had come to the world and saved the people. The second is to claim to be the eighth grandson of Emperor Huizong of Song.
These two things are for the sake of mythologizing themselves and gathering popularity.
First of all, because the people at that time were in a deep sense of suffering, and the people who were in the midst of deep suffering were particularly superstitious, and they all felt that there must be gods and bodhisattvas who came down to save the world and save the people of Li. Therefore, Han Shantong said this at this time, implying that he was the reincarnation of Maitreya Buddha.
The historical Yellow Turban Rebellion, the Fang La Uprising, and later the Taiping Rebellion, all used this method to gather popularity and played a very good role.
On another note, Han Shantong's claim that he was the eighth grandson of Emperor Huizong of Song was even more significant. On the one hand, after he was emperor, he had considerable prestige. Chen Sheng's rebellion against Wu Guang also had to be under the banner of Fu Su and Xiang Yan, because Fu Su and Xiang Yan were both nobles or emperors, so people listened to them. Liu Xiu and Liu Bei also wanted to say that they were after Liu Bang, so they had something to do. On the other hand, the Song Dynasty was destroyed by the Yuan Dynasty, and as Han Chinese, especially the Southern Han people who were placed in the fourth class, they had hatred for the Yuan Dynasty. However, Emperor Huizong of Song was taken captive to the north by nomads from the north, which created a double hatred among the Han people in the south, and at the same time, the common people pitied Emperor Huizong of Song. Therefore, Han Shantong said that he was a descendant of Emperor Huizong of Song, and he had great affinity.
It can be said that Han Santong's packaging of himself was quite successful, which also made him quickly gather many people and launch an uprising.
Unfortunately, Han Shantong "died before he could get out of the army", and soon after launching the uprising, he was captured and killed by the Yuan army.

Although Han Santong was killed, his influence is irreplaceable, because he has formed an important image in the hearts of the people. It was also for this consideration that his successor Liu Futong wanted to raise his son Han Lin'er up, make Han Lin'er emperor, and establish the state of Song.
Han Lin'er actually has no ability, and at the same time has no culture, he can neither fight wars nor handle government affairs. Despite this, Liu Futong still wanted to help him stand up. After all, he is a flag, and only if this flag exists, the people of the four sides will come to join the rebel army.
However, liu Futong was a little jealous of Han Lin'er from the day he lifted him up. Try to take his power and make it up to you. Some people may say that since Liu Futong wanted to make his own decisions, he should have called himself emperor in the first place. At this point, as we said earlier, if Liu Futong himself is called emperor, he does not have this appeal, so Liu Futong is so contradictory that he wants to stand up Han Lin'er and seize Han Lin'er's power.
Han Lin'er did not want to be a puppet, helped Du Zundao up, and wanted to rely on Du Zundao to contain Liu Futong, and as a result, Du Zundao was assassinated by Liu Futong. Then Liu Futong claimed to be the prime minister, Plus Taibao, and from then on he controlled the government.
In fact, what Han Lin'er and Liu Futong did was actually of no use. Because they continued to lose on the battlefield, they were also cruel to the common people, so that fewer and fewer people were attached.
In the midst of repeated failures, Liu Futong fled to Anfeng with Han Lin'er wrapped around him.

At this time, Zhu Yuanzhang was confronting Chen Youyu and preparing for the great armageddon. Zhang Shicheng supported Chen Youyu and joined forces with Chen Youyu to attack Zhu Yuanzhang on both sides. At the same time, Zhang Shicheng attacked An Feng and attacked Liu Futong and Han Lin'er. In this case, Han Lin'er asked Zhu Yuanzhang for help.
At that time, Liu Bowen advised Zhu Yuanzhang not to save Han Lin'er, otherwise Chen Youyu would take advantage of the void. However, in order to win the hearts and minds of the people, Zhu Yuanzhang did not stand by and went to the rescue of Han Lin'er.
By this time, Zhang Shicheng's subordinate Lü Zhen had already attacked the city and killed Liu Futong. Zhu Yuanzhang rescued Han Lin'er and drove Lü Zhen away. In this way, Han Lin'er fell into zhu Yuanzhang's hands.
Zhu Yuanzhang's rescue of Han Lin'er was an adventurous operation, during which Chen Youyu almost took his lair. Fortunately, he returned in time and launched the Battle of Poyang Lake with Chen Youyu, and destroyed Chen Youyu and Zhang Shicheng to unify the south. Zhu Yuanzhang was also called "King" in Yingtian.
In this way, Han Lin'er became a piece of Zhu Yuanzhang's heart disease. So we saw that Zhu Yuanzhang sent Liao Yongzhong to meet Han Lin'er and take Han Lin'er back to his "capital" Yingtian. However, on the way, Han Lin'er inexplicably fell into the water and drowned.
Han Lin'er ended his life in such a hurry.
