In the 5th episode of Journey to the West, the Seven Fairies told Sun Wukong the composition of the Five Directions and Five Elders. They are the Western Heavenly Buddha, the Bodhisattva, the Holy Monk, the Arhat, the Southern Antarctic Guanyin, the Eastern Chong'en Saint Emperor, the Ten Continents and three islands of Xianweng, the Northern Arctic Xuanling, and the Central Yellow Pole Yellow Horn Immortal. Let me summarize it:
First, the jurisdiction of the Heavenly Court over the Western Western Niuhe Prefecture, headed by the Western Heavenly Buddha Lao Rulai, is headquartered in Lingshan, and the bodhisattvas, holy monks, and arhats of Lingshan are all nominal subordinates of Rulai and must obey Rulai's leadership in major events.
Second, the jurisdiction of the Heavenly Court over the Southern Zhanbu Continent in the south is headed by the South Pole Guanyin. Guanyin is subordinate to Lingshan within the framework of Buddhism. He is the supreme leader of the Lingshan Bodhisattva, but in the framework of the Heavenly Court, he is of the same level as Rulai. Guanyin's headquarters is in the South China Sea. So did Guanyin have any subordinates? Of course, there are, the twenty-four heavens, the black bear spirit of the mountain god, the wooden fork walker, the red child of the good fortune, and the dragon girl holding the pearl.
Three. The Heavenly Court's jurisdiction over the Eastern Eastern Sheng Shenzhou was headed by the Eastern Chong'en Saint Emperor, and the Ten Continents And three Islands Immortal was the nominal subordinate of the Chong'en Saint Emperor. Who are the Ten Continents and Three Islands Immortals? Abbot Island Fulu Shou Sanxian and his subordinates, Yingzhou Island Yingzhou Jiulao, Penglai Shandong Hua Emperor Jun and his disciple Dongfang Shuo. They had to obey the leadership of the Chong'en Saint Emperor in major events. The headquarters of the Chong'en Saint Emperor was in Taishan.
Fourth, the jurisdiction of the Heavenly Court over the Northern Julu Continent belongs to the Northern Arctic Xuanling.
Fifth, the jurisdiction of the Heavenly Court over the center point of the four major ministries belongs to the Central Yellow Pole Yellow Horn Great Immortal.

Speaking of this Chong'en Saint Emperor, he still has a good relationship with Sun Wukong, because Sun Wukong was born in his realm. However, in the original work of "Journey to the West", there are very few clues and records about this Chong'en Saint Emperor, which shows that he is usually very low-key. There is even more strange, Sun Wukong robbed the Dragon Palace and made a mansion, all happened on his territory, the Jade Emperor was to encircle and suppress Sun Wukong and also had to send the Chong'en Saint Emperor, but the Jade Emperor twice let Li Tianwang lead the team. In the end, he also let Rulai, who was slightly more exalted, subjugate Sun Wukong.
So who is this Chong'en Saint Emperor? In fact, Sun Wukong went to heaven for the second time and became the Great Sage of Qi Tian, but before he managed the Peach Orchard, he had dealt with the Chong'en Saint Emperor. Not only the Chong'en Saint Emperor, but also the Five Elders of the Five Directions, Guanyin and the Arctic XuanLing and the Yellow Pole Yellow Horn Great Immortal outside of Rulai had all dealt with each other. Sun Wukong and they are called brothers, and they are not noncommittal.
And this Chong'en Saint Emperor sometimes hides from Sun Wukong, because in the 56th time of "Journey to the West", Tang Monk let the Eight Precepts of the Pig bury the robber killed by Sun Wukong, and Tang Monk prayed that the good man would go to His Highness Sen Luo to file a complaint, his surname is Sun, my surname is Chen, and each lives with a different surname. There is a head for wrongs, and there is a master for debts, so don't sue me for taking sutras from the monks.
Sun Wukong slammed the robber's grave three times and said, "Plagued robber, listen!" When you go there to complain, the Jade Emperor recognizes me, and the Heavenly King follows me; the Twenty-Eight Lords fear me, and the Nine Obsidian Officials fear me; the capital city of Fuxian kneels on me, and dongyue Tianqi frightens me; the Tenth Generation Yan Jun has been a servant with me, and the Five Paths Rampant God has been born with me; no matter the Three Realms and Five Divisions, the Ten Directions and the Lords are all familiar with me, and they all go with you! ”
Sun Wukong has an Eastern Yue Tianqi in this passage, is this Eastern Yue Tianqi the Chong'en Saint Emperor? The two words of Qi Tian, the Great Sage of Qi Tian, are far worse than those of Tian qi, and there are only a few people who can be called Tianqi in the Heavenly Court, plus the word Dongyue, which is not the Chong'en Saint Emperor. Sun Wukong said that Dongyue Tianqi is afraid of me, how can people worship the Holy Land of Grace be afraid of Sun Wukong, obviously this fear should be a verb, we understand it this way, Dongyue Tianqi is not willing to interact with Sun Wukong more, afraid that Sun Wukong will cause him trouble.
Why was the Chong'en Saint Emperor afraid that Sun Wukong would cause trouble for him? Who can threaten the Chong'en Saint Emperor? From Sun Wukong's extraordinary birth, coupled with the two golden rays of light shooting into the heavenly court, but this Chong'en Saint Emperor did not react, indicating that he knew who Sun Wukong was. Sun Wukong He Xuren, as the author has said in previous articles, it was the Jade Emperor who, in order to deal with Lao Jun's constraints on his own power, united with Rulai, who was suppressed by Lao Jun, and let Rulai create Sun Wukong. And Sun Wukong was born from the Chong'en Saint Emperor's realm, that is to say, for Sun Wukong's origin, the Chong'en Saint Emperor could not be unaware, he was very clear.
If the Chong'en Saint Emperor didn't know, then what would happen to him if such a monster appeared in his own realm? Kill it. Judging from the situation of Sun Wukong making trouble in the Heavenly Palace later, the Chong'en Saint Emperor is very low-key to let Sun Wukong make a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace and draw a clear line with himself. Why, the Chong'en Saint Emperor was definitely not Lao Jun's person. He was from the Jade Emperor's camp, and he didn't want to get Rulai's status, but because of his own high status, he couldn't let Lao Jun play the head bird.
The author also has a piece of evidence, that is, after Rulai suppressed Sun Wukong, the Heavenly Court held a Meeting of Antian, and the Fulu Shou Sanxing under the Chong'en Saint Emperor, the barefoot immortals were all patting Rulai's ass, interested readers can go to see it, these words are punching Lao Jun's face every minute, obviously Lao Jun has become a political enemy of the Three Immortals of Fulu Shou, and the Chong'en Saint Emperor did not go at all in order to avoid Lao Jun's angry eyes.
In fact, the Chong'en Saint Emperor also had a more domineering name, Dongyue Changsheng Emperor. So, what is eternal life? We look at the three-star jujube of Fulu Shou, the bi lotus of Yingzhou Jiulao (there are few green lotuses in nature, and the lotus is white), and the nine turns of Donghua Emperor Jun. Because the peach eats too much, the effect of resisting physical blows is poor, and It needs Lao Jun's elixir to reconcile. However, although the longevity food of the Ten Continents and Three Islands Immortals did not have the life extension effect of the peach, the strengthening effect of the immortal elixir was so good. But it is clear that the strengths of the two are blended.
From the perspective of the Jade Emperor Laojun, it is okay for these things not to be mass-produced and held in small quantities, but if they are mass-produced, they will threaten the authority of the Jade Emperor and Laojun, so the ginseng fruits of Zhen Yuanzi are the same, which are absolutely incapable of being produced. Therefore, Zhen Yuanzi's family called him the Ancestor of the Earth Immortals, the Same Emperor of the World, and the Chong'en Saint Emperor's family called him the Immortal Emperor, ostensibly to give you a face, but in fact, it was sandwiched between the interests of the Jade Emperor and Sanqing, and he was very bitter, and it was not possible to keep a low profile.
If you see the Chong'en Saint Emperor like this, he also shook his head straight, in front of Lao Jun, sometimes he was helpless, in order to vent his anger, he let the Difu reincarnate the king of the Wuji Kingdom according to the appearance of the Chong'en Saint Emperor, it was okay, the little devil of the Difu did not know. Why do I say that? Because, in the 37th time of the Journey to the West, in the Western Niuhe Prefecture where Taoism prevailed, there was actually a Wuji kingdom that believed in Buddhism, and the king looked "like the Eastern Yue Changsheng Emperor, resembling Wenchang Kaihua Jun". You know, the country of Wuji is relatively close to the Taoist cultural center of Datang.
Therefore, the Chong'en Saint Emperor would rather rank third himself than compete with Rulai for the first place in the five parties and five elders, and maintain a low profile that is different from the famous name everywhere, because the gun shoots the head bird.
