I was still a student in elementary school in the early 1960s. In each class, the discipline committee member records the names of the students who violated discipline, and the discipline committee records the students who violated discipline in the classroom; before school in the afternoon, the labor committee prepares a basin of clean water and puts it on the podium, and all the students who violate discipline in the class on the same day stand in front of the blackboard. Now that social civilization has progressed, not only has the Law on the Protection of Minors, but also recently the Family Education Promotion Law has been issued, and there will be no more such a bad illegal phenomenon in mainland China that can be reasonably implemented on the campuses of primary and secondary schools.

In reality, some primary and secondary school teachers use the method of "implicating the innocent" to punish the whole class for individual students making mistakes. Compared with the rational implementation of the evil and illegal phenomena of my time in primary and secondary schools, although there is no bloodshed, it is worth considering whether the original intention of cultivating a sense of "collectivism" by "connecting innocents" can be realized.

Through the discussion of several parents, the vast majority of students are disgusted with this "strain" punishment method, and even have a great negative impact on the teacher. Parents also expressed incomprehension.

I think that the teachers who are teaching these parents and children at the moment may be the same age as these parents, and they have also been connected when they were primary and secondary school students, and they may have thought the same as today's students. Why do you still use the same way you used to be particularly disgusted when you became a teacher? 难‬到这样‬的教育真的能“遗传”吗?

This has to make us think about a basic question of education: whether we should choose the faster effect of other discipline to achieve the same educational effect by self-discipline or other discipline.
