Born in 1949, Shi Tian, whose original name is Liu Weicheng, has made great contributions to the Hong Kong film industry and has multiple identities as an actor, director and producer. Shi Tiansheng was formerly one of the founders of New Art City Pictures, which has created countless classic Hong Kong films. Founded in the 1980s, the core members of the company are Huang Baiming, Shi Tian, and Mai Jia, who started by making kung fu comedies. In the later period, the new art city increased to 7 people, Xu Ke, Zeng Zhiwei, Teddy Robin and Shi Nansheng joined in, creating countless classic Hong Kong films, which became popular with Maggie Cheung, Zhang Aijia, Wang Zuxian, Lin Qingxia, Zhang Guorong, Zhou Runfa and others.

Shi Tian joined Shaw's Southern Experimental Theater Troupe as a student in the 1960s, until he officially joined Shaw as an actor, and has performed in films such as "Youth Love" and "Little Fire Star".
