The 1960 domestic film "Liu Sanjie" was the first musical feature film in China.
The film is directed by Suri and starring Huang Wanqiu and Liu Shilong.

Huang Wanqiu, who played Liu Sanjie in "Liu Sanjie", was born in Guilin, Guangxi Province, with her ancestral home in Meixian County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, and she performed on stage at the age of 14, and was only 17 years old when she starred in "Liu Sanjie".
But since the film was characterized, she has been sent to labor reform for 15 years as a leading actor.
During those difficult years, Huang Wanqiu once wanted to end her life by suicide, but whenever she thought of those who had supported her and thought of Liu Sanjie, who had also suffered an unfair fate, she silently persevered.
After that difficult period, Huang Wanqiu finally appeared in the Guangxi art scene as an artist.
At present, she serves as the vice chairman of the Guangxi Autonomous Region Literary Association and establishes a Liu Sanjie Art Troupe, which continues to contribute to the country's cultural undertakings.
In fact, the success of the character of Liu Sanjie in the movie "Liu Sanjie", in addition to Huang Wanqiu's performance, is inseparable from the two behind-the-scenes actors.
They are Fu Jinhua, an actor who sings for Liu Sanjie, and Zhang Guilan, an actor who voices Liu Sanjie.
Fu Jinhua was born in a family of music artists in Changsheng Street, Rong'an, her parents performed in an amateur theater troupe, and she learned to sing Liu Sanjie's songs from an early age.
Later, she was given the opportunity to sing for the film "Liu Sanjie", and the classic songs in the film, including the last song "Vines and Trees", were sung by her.
In 1979, Fu Jinhua starred in the Gui opera version of "Liu Sanjie", which was well received by the audience.
On February 2, 2013, Fu Jinhua died of illness in Nanning, and her classic songs are still sung to the world.
Zhang Guilan, who voiced Liu Sanjie, is from Jinxian County, Liaoning Province, and has also played roles in movies such as "The Waves of Life", "Red Sun" and "The Story of Scars".
Her dubbing career spans more than 40 years, and she has voiced the protagonists of more than 200 Chinese and foreign films, TV series and radio dramas.
Zhang Guilan has won the Best Actress Award of the "Golden Eagle Award" of "Popular Television" and the Outstanding Voice Actor Award of the National TV Series "Feitian Award".
He died of illness in July 2001 at the age of 67.
Two
Liu Shilong, who played Brother Ah Niu in "Liu Sanjie", is an Anhui native, a military background, who debuted in 1954 and participated in as many as 20 movies, and was active until 1990.
Liu Shilong had 3 marriages in his life, and in 1954 he married his female classmate and had a son, Liu Xiaolong.
Eight years later, the two divorced due to their feelings, and their son Liu Xiaolong also died in a car accident in 1990, at the age of 36.
On May 1, 1966, he married actor Mang Shuangying, who was 9 years younger than himself, and had two sons after marriage. His wife, Mang Shuangying, died of leukemia in 2002.
On June 17, 2003, Liu Shilong, who was 73 years old, married Chang Jiarui, 39.
In his later years, Liu Shilong was plagued by illness and died on September 27, 2017 at the age of 87.
The voice of Brother Ah Niu is Beijing actor Chen Rubin, who was also a handsome man when he was young, and looks like Adam Dreifer.
Chen Rubin has also participated in more than 20 films, and later he served as the head of the long-shadow actor troupe and the director of the translation studio, quietly fighting for the country's film industry for more than 40 years, translating hundreds of films from more than 20 countries around the world.
He died in Changchun on June 5, 2012 due to a sudden heart attack at the age of 80.

Zhang Juguang, who plays Brother Ah Niu and his father's old fisherman, was born in 1929, in fact, he is only 1 year older than Liu Shilong, but he is witty and humorous, and he is good at playing the role of an old man.
He played Lao Qinye in "Plain Guerrilla", and played a lot of opponents with Huang Wanqiu in "Liu Sanjie", when Huang Wanqiu had just entered the industry and had no acting experience, all of which were completed under the patient guidance of Zhang Juguang and director Suri.
Such a diligent and virtuous actor, but could not survive the dark years, under severe damage, died in August 1968, at the age of 39.
His wife, Han Yunzhi, and daughter, Hongfang, still live in Beijing.
Liang Yin, who plays Liu Sanjie's brother Liu Er, although he does not have many scenes in the film, he is a veteran actor in long film.
He debuted in 1949 and participated in films such as "Bridge", "Plain Guerrilla", and "Sea Condor".
The audience is most familiar with the border guard Yang platoon commander played in "The Visitor on the Iceberg"; the reconnaissance hero Liu Qingshan in "Three Into the Mountain City"; and the train driver Guo Zhenxing in "The Severe Journey".
Liang Yin's original wife, Du Fengxia, is also a film actress, and the two have two daughters.
In December 2000, Du Fengxia died of cerebral hemorrhage, and Liang Yin remarried his wife Yu Hu.
On January 26, 2015, Liang Yin also passed away due to heart failure at the age of 89.
Xia Zongxue, who played the old landlord Mo Huairen, was actually only 29 years old at the time, and the white beard was glued but the evil old man was portrayed beautifully.
Xia Zongxue himself is actually a big handsome guy, playing the villain in "Liu Sanjie" because of the problem of family origin, at that time, he could not play a positive role, so he simply played the villain.
Later, in many movies, Xia Zongxue played the role of Xiaosheng. For example, Ma Shaokui in "The Story of Brother Bao"; Wei Zhipu in "Love Heaven Hates the Sea"; Ling Mengqing in "Moon to Mid-Autumn Festival".
Xia Zongxue has played many positive and good roles in his life, but he is not as famous as the villain Mo Huairen in "Liu Sanjie", and it is really Shi Ye's fate. He died in 2013 at the age of 83.
Mo Jincai, the butler beside Mo Huairen, greeted his master and did everything to the extreme, while to the masses, he was a fox and a tiger, fierce and vicious, which was impressive.
Playing Mo Jincai is Hubei veteran actor He Ruyu, who debuted in 1944 before liberation and played Boss Guo in the movie "Tuberose".
Most of the roles he played in the movie were small roles, but he was a gold medal supporting role, and each role was dedicated to playing well.
After liberation, he played mostly villain roles, such as the landlord dog leg in "Plain Guerrilla"; vesta god in "Cloudy Mountain"; and the puppet army in "Wheel Rolling".
Thanks to these good actors who are willing to put down their bodies to create villain roles, there are so many classic and good movies. He Lao died in 1987 at the age of 67.

Liu Sanjie was a peasant daughter of the Zhuang ethnic group in the Tang Dynasty, known as the "Song Immortal", and was respected by the world for her wisdom and bravery.
In the movie, Liu Sanjie was persecuted by the landlord class because she sang about the suffering of the poor, and once again with the help of the toiling masses, she turned the danger into a disaster, and her story was ups and downs, fascinating, and welcomed by the broad masses of the people.
This classic old film has three major characteristics, that is, good songs, good scenery, and good people.
The classic songs in the film are still sung by the masses of the people; the beautiful scenery of the Li River, which was still in a semi-primitive state in the 60s, was forever recorded by the film in the form of images;
"Liu Sanjie" witnessed the spirit of contribution that the working people of that era generally had, and the level of craftsmanship that strived for excellence, even if it is not outdated even now.
