Operation Lightning Yangzhong Public Security forcefully cracked down on telecommunications network fraud

Since the beginning of this year, Yangzhong Public Security has adhered to the general tone of seeking progress in stability, based on the reality of Yangzhong, strengthened the all-round synthesis of police types, data, means, etc., built an anti-fraud pattern with clearer responsibilities, closer linkage, more refined processes and more efficient operations, and fully implemented the measures of the "Lightning" action.

Recently, the Yangzhong Anti-Fraud Center has been physically operated, and the network security and criminal investigation police have been normally stationed in the center to carry out a normalized operation and judgment model. The Anti-Fraud Center establishes and improves the working mechanism, mainly responsible for receiving and handling the police situation of telecommunications network fraud in Yangzhong City, carrying out inquiries and stop payments, intercepting and blocking, publicizing and preventing, centralized research and judgment, unified operation, and overall crackdown work, adhering to fast-paced response and disposal, and strictly requiring all units to standardize the handling of police information and the entry of case elements, so as to minimize the losses of the masses.

All along, Yangzhong Public Security has maintained a multi-dimensional and high-pressure situation of cracking down on telecommunications network fraud. This year, the criminal investigation brigade coordinated its strength, means, and information resources, gave full play to the advantages of synthetic operations, and organized a special case to investigate and handle a fraud case by Lan Mou and others using the yuanquan network stock allocation platform, and realized the whole chain of crackdowns. Taking the Ministry of Public Security's "card breaking" operation as an opportunity, in view of the fraud cases since January this year, we have sorted out a number of telephone cards and bank card information clues involved in the case, mobilized elite police forces, and organized 11 arrest teams to go to 11 provinces and cities across the country to concentrate on cracking down on a number of "two-card" criminal gangs. During the operation, a total of 3 cases of local telecommunications network fraud were cracked, and 49 criminal suspects were arrested.

In order to achieve the anti-fraud of the whole people, Yangzhong Public Security adopts the "online + offline" publicity method and cooperates with China Mobile to introduce an "anti-fraud disposal platform" to achieve accurate publicity, network interception and accurate blocking. In addition, by hanging prevention banners and making reminder calls, anti-fraud propaganda columns are set up in crowded places such as squares, anti-fraud propaganda videos are played on electronic screens, revealing the means and methods of various types of wire fraud crimes, more than 8,000 anti-fraud propaganda posters are posted, and more than 200,000 anti-fraud propaganda text messages and tips are sent to mobile phone users in Yangzhong City through the Internet and text messages. According to the current prominent types of telecommunications fraud cases, prominent means, and vulnerable people, elaborate publicity and prevention articles, and publish 28 anti-fraud propaganda articles and early warning tips in the Yangzhong Public Security Micro-Police Public Account, exposing various means of telecommunications fraud such as loans, single brushing, and false shopping.

Since the "Lightning" operation, the Municipal Public Security Bureau has arrested a total of 61 suspects of telecommunications network fraud, cracked 19 cases of telecommunications network fraud, 138 cases of cases in other provinces, confiscated a total of 112 bank cards, 30 mobile phone cards, more than 21 million funds, 15 other equipment involved in the case, and destroyed 4 upstream and downstream industrial chains of telecommunications network fraud.
