Nikola Tesla (1856~1943), a famous American inventor, physicist and engineer, has obtained a total of about 1,000 invention patents. He is known as the "Father of ALTERNA" for inventing the ALTERNA system.
In 1856, Tesla was born in austria at that time, to a Serbian family.
In 1882, Tesla joined Edison's company in Paris and successfully designed the first induction motor.

In 1891, he obtained a patent for the invention of Tesla coils. This is a high-frequency series resonant transformer with distributed parameters that can be used to make artificial lightning.
In 1893, Westinghouse bid for alternating current lighting at the Columbia Exposition in Chicago. It was a major event in the history of alternating current development, and it also enabled Tesla to finally win the battle with Edison DC.
