Love and kill with Edison, the father of alternating current, the king of invention: Tesla

author:Acceleration physics

Tesla and Edison's love and killing has always been talked about by the world, they are the same invention king, but because of the current dispute to become competitors, and even have a great contradiction. Who are they to invent a brother? I believe that after reading this article, everyone has their own judgment.

Nikola Tesla (1856~1943), a famous American inventor, physicist and engineer, has obtained a total of about 1,000 invention patents. He is known as the "Father of ALTERNA" for inventing the ALTERNA system.

In 1856, Tesla was born in austria at that time, to a Serbian family.

In 1882, Tesla joined Edison's company in Paris and successfully designed the first induction motor.

In 1884, because of his admiration for Edison, Tesla went to the United States to join Edison's laboratory and redesigned the DC generator. Tesla proposed its own AC power generation system, but Edison insisted on its own DC power generation system.

In 1886, Tesla set up its own company and established its own AC power generation system.

In 1888, Tesla made a report on "ALTERNA and AC Motors".

In 1891, he obtained a patent for the invention of Tesla coils. This is a high-frequency series resonant transformer with distributed parameters that can be used to make artificial lightning.

In 1893, Westinghouse bid for alternating current lighting at the Columbia Exposition in Chicago. It was a major event in the history of alternating current development, and it also enabled Tesla to finally win the battle with Edison DC.

That same year, Tesla produced 1 million volts of high-voltage electricity.

From 1894 to 1900, Tesla produced ball lightning and made artificial lightning for the first time.

In 1906, Tesla invented the bladeless turbine.

From 1909 to 1922, Tesla obtained patents for flow meters and pumps.

In 1928, Tesla patented the small aircraft "flying furnace". He also designed a saucer-shaped craft with no wings, no ailerons, and no propellers, but did not produce a finished product.

Tesla died in a hotel in 1943 at the age of 86, never marrying.

In September of the same year, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed Marconi's original judgment and ruled that Tesla was the inventor of radio.

In 1960, in honor of Tesla's great achievements, Tesla was designated as an international unit of magnetic induction intensity.

Tesla is said to have a magical ability to present the object he was inventing perfectly in his mind without the need for models, drawings, or even experiments.

Tesla obtained many patents for inventions in his lifetime, but he gave up his own income, and he lived on a tight budget for many years. He was more concerned about how his invention would bring more convenience to society.
