Wanda Community, Sujin Street: Fragrant Cakes welcome Chongyang

In order to carry forward the fine tradition of respecting the elderly, loving the elderly and helping the elderly, on October 14, the Wanda Community Party Organization in Sujin Street held a "Cake Fragrant Fragrance and Welcoming Chongyang" activity with the Fairview Public Welfare Service Station, inviting Zhai Runfa, a traditional non-hereditary heir, to the community to demonstrate the production of Korean cakes to the residents, and the flavor greeted Chongyang.

In the activity, the teacher first told everyone about the origin and customs of the cake, and Teacher Zhai introduced that the cake is one of the traditional flavor foods of the Korean people, and it is also the seasonal diet loved by the Korean people. It is made by putting steamed glutinous rice into a trough and beating it with a mallet, hence the name "cake". The Korean people have a long history of eating cakes, and they are an indispensable food on the table on major celebrations such as New Year's Day, old birthdays, children's birthdays, and wedding celebrations.

Immediately afterward, the teacher showed everyone the process of making cakes. The residents also enthusiastically discussed the exchange of production methods, and enthusiastically shared their own insights and experiences, the residents enjoyed the fun, shared the food together, took a group photo, and spent a beautiful afternoon in laughter.

Through this activity, the Chongyang Festival was celebrated in a novel form, which not only inherited and carried forward the excellent traditional virtues of Chinese filial piety for the elderly, felt the charm of traditional Chinese folklore, but also created a harmonious community cultural atmosphere of solidarity and mutual assistance, civilization and respect for the elderly in the community.
