Fortnite held the Martin Luther King Jr. event Epic disabling all emoticons

Epic yesterday added an interactive Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial to its Fortnite game. While it's the player's right to use a variety of emoticons in the game, some players ran to the memorial and used some obviously inappropriate emoticons, and epic has taken some action on this behavior.

Epic Games partnered with Time Magazine to launch the Time Parade, an interactive memorial in the game. Although the event sparked a lot of discussion among players, some players took the opportunity to do some funny behavior, first some players changed into game skins such as Batman and Storm Soldier to dance in front of the memorial, and then some players changed into Rick's skin in "Rick and Morty" and danced in front of the virtual Lincoln Memorial Reflection Pool with the "I Have A Dream" speech as the background sound.

Today, Epic seems to be completely intolerable to this behavior, disabling all emoticons outright during the Time Parade. Only 8 emoticons specifically designed by Epic for the event were spared, including sit-ins and protests.

This move has also caused many players to resent, questioning why Epic has a one-size-fits-all approach to facial expressions in the game.

It is worth mentioning that Epic only disabled some malicious emoticons at the beginning of the event, such as throwing tomatoes, but then the manufacturer found that the problem was still not solved, and simply banned all emoticons.
