On November 26, 2019, the G5587 train, fully loaded with passengers, slowly left Shandong Linyi North Railway Station and sped westward. The Lunan high-speed railway is the railway project with the longest construction mileage, the largest investment scale, the most complex construction conditions and the largest population along the line in the history of Shandong Province. Turning over the history of China's railway development, the time can be traced back to 1909.
