Li Wenguang published poems and literary works in newspapers and periodicals such as Pearl Harbor, Zhonghua Poetry Magazine, State Civil Servants Daily, and New Century Literary Circles of the Guangdong Writers' Association; Li Wenguang's couplets were carved and exhibited in the Yuqing Xingsu Rock Stele Forest in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, the Poetry Union Stele Forest in Lianyuan City, Hunan Province, and the Yangchun Donghu Corridor, as well as in many primary and secondary schools; and Li Wenguang's "A Hundred Songs of Advocating Honesty and Fighting Corruption and Warning the World" was exhibited in Cangxian County, Hebei Province, and other places, and aroused positive repercussions.
In September 2014, the Yangchun Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the Yangchun Municipal Supervision Bureau held a calligraphy exhibition of 110 anti-corruption and clean government warning poems by CPPCC member Li Wenguang and the calligraphy exhibition of 110 calligraphers across the country (each of the 110 calligraphers wrote a poem by Li Wenguang on behalf of the seven unique poems) as the main content and teaching materials of the Yangchun Discipline Education Month In the preface to the third of Li Wenguang's four "Tang" poems, Li Yunhan, a professor of the Department of Chinese at Jinan University, commented that Li Wenguang was "a strange man, a genius, and a strange poem."
