I like to read the works of Mr. Qu Quansheng (hereinafter referred to as Qu Lao) very much, and I appreciate his broad-minded, ambitious, concise, and straightforward style. I have read a lot of Qu Lao's works on the Yunbutang platform of Mr. Nan Yuanjing, including novels, essays, reviews, poems, etc., which is not only enjoyable, but also learning. This is because, in Qu Lao's pen, he can use the most concise and vivid language, or a point of view, to describe and express it in the most concise and vivid language, the most novel and appropriate way, the words are full of positive energy, very humane, very down-to-earth, tasteful, read and teachable, and often can't put it down.
I often think that Qu Lao is a professional soldier in a high position and entangled in important matters, not a professional writer, so why can he write so many outstanding works that are different and widely popular? Can it be understood that ordinary writers do not have the rich experience and experience of Qu Lao, do not have the opportunity to touch so many people and things, and have deep thinking about experience, so ordinary writers cannot write such brilliant works as Qu Lao. There are many senior military cadres who have similar experience to Qu Lao, but they do not have Qu Lao's profound literary literacy, persistent creative pursuit, and writing skills that have been tempered into steel, so there are not many writers among senior military cadres who write by themselves. It can be said that Qu Lao is one of the few high-quality and prolific writers among the high-ranking military cadres I know so far, and he can be called the first writer in the military.
In the past two years, Qu Lao has successively launched three novels, "Goose Head Ridge", "Danshi Soul", and "Tian Cangcang", all of which are very exciting, injecting a clear stream into today's chaotic Chinese literary scene and shooting a strong light. In particular, his latest novel "The Sky is Firmament" is perfect in terms of characters, storylines, environmental descriptions and use of words.
The novel of more than 200,000 words, "The Sky", involves a wide range of major historical events, creates wonderful characters, and quotes and creates many poems, which are rare in today's literary works. I have made a rough count of the major historical events involved, starting from the Democratic Revolution, to the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and the Sino-Soviet Friction, including the Great Leap Forward, the People's Commune, the Anti-Rightist Struggle, the Lushan Conference, the "Cultural Revolution", the Xinjiang Reclamation, the Third-Line Construction, the Nuclear Weapons Test, the Border Defense Construction, the Reform and Opening Up, etc., and almost all the major events in the past 100 years before and after the founding of New China. There are more than 50 characters involved in the novel, including underground party members, professional soldiers, people's teachers, government officials, medical workers, young people who have been reclaimed and garrisoned, business elites, rising stars, etc., all kinds of characters are portrayed vividly and vividly, especially Yan Wenjuan, Yu Wenjian, Yuan Hanying, He Honghai, He Chunliu, He Chunyan, Xiang Guiying and other main characters are vivid and smart, wonderful, and all leave a deep impression on people. The book quotes and creates more than 120 poems (sentences), with interesting words, witty words, and flying literary brilliance, forming its own unique style and giving people a kind of beautiful enjoyment.
The novel "The Sky" tells the story of Yan Wenjuan and her children. Specifically, it tells the moving story of the heroine Yan Wenjuan's unremitting efforts, hard struggle, bloody sacrifice and outstanding contributions to the establishment, construction, defense and development of New China, a revolutionary family full of great love and loyalty formed on the basis of righteousness (common ideals and beliefs). Next, I will focus on the superficial understanding of the portrayal of the protagonist and soul character Yan Wenjuan in the book.

Yan Wenjuan is a veteran underground party member who joined the Communist Party of China in 1928, she has been loyal to the party's cause all her life, forgetting her life and death, being loyal and unyielding, silently dedicating, and her deeds are touching and tear-jerking.
The book vividly describes Yan Wenjuan from multiple perspectives. At the beginning, she was a hot-blooded young man full of a sense of justice, and she became famous as the "news pearl" in Shanghai's political circles, she supported the workers' strike, took the lead in participating in the demonstrations, and was developed into an underground party member, and since then she has been like a seed, which has begun to take root, grow, blossom and bear fruit in the revolutionary ranks. Under the cover of being a journalist, she actively collected and transmitted intelligence for the party. She put the overall situation first, married Lieutenant General He Honghai, a high-ranking Kuomintang officer, and told the party organization that she would definitely win him over to the side of our Communist Party. She took her two young children to prison and insisted on collecting and transmitting information for the party while in prison, thus bankrupting the Kuomintang's conspiracy to assassinate high-ranking cadres of our party and our army, and showing the unique demeanor of an underground Communist Party member.
What is even more admirable is that Yan Wenjuan also cultivated and developed her daughters and sons-in-law He Chunliu, He Chunyan, Xiang Guiying, Yuan Hanying, etc. into Communist Party members, and educated them (them) to correctly handle the beauty of love and faith, human nature and party spirit, love and dedication, and selfless dedication, just as she said: "It is normal for Communist Party members to weigh the pros and cons between gains and losses, and what is abnormal is that they only think about how much benefit they have for themselves." He Chunliu is her only biological daughter, from the age of seven in prison to assist her mother to send information, at the age of seventeen joined the party, with the determination of "not to eliminate schistosomiasis, not to die blind" into the work, in order to personally feel the study of pregnant women to prevent and control the method of flukes, during pregnancy contracted schistosomiasis, died in the line of duty, sacrificed his young life, was awarded the title of outstanding Communist Party member by the provincial party committee, was awarded the title of model worker by the provincial government. Her son-in-law Yuan Hanying was injured a kidney by a bomb dropped by a US plane in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and the leader of the single kidney took the initiative to invite Sakura to lead the team to the border of Xinjiang Tunken, and led the young man to break the ice and dig ditches and dig ditches in the temperature of more than 20 degrees below zero. Yan Wenjuan, like many revolutionaries of the older generation, was very strict with herself, as can be seen in her last will. In her will, she wrote: "There are no legal heirs to my estate, and the house is repossessed and confiscated by the government; The deposit is used as a party fee to be handed over to the organization: Han Meiyun gave me the Mobao and the photos at home to my granddaughter Yu Jiaojiao for collection. ....... In addition, arrangements such as farewell to the body and memorial services are better than spending money on solving the problem of food and clothing for the people. Her son-in-law, Lieutenant General Yu Wenjian, deputy commander of the Grand Military Region and commander-in-chief of the construction of the third line of Yizhihua, also followed the law and made a will: "The funeral is simple, do not trouble the organization, do not alarm the comrades, and do not disturb the family." "It's awe-inspiring to read.
Yan Wenjuan is not only an outstanding Communist Party member with ideals and beliefs, but also a respected mother with great love and wisdom. A good family of origin is not perfect, and it can be said that it is unfortunate. She lost her husband at an early age, lost her daughter in middle age, and was alone. Some people say that "a mother is the soul of a family", and they think it is true. A hard-working, intelligent, and dedicated mother can always change the fate of a family through her own efforts, turning misfortune into happiness and tragedy into comedy. She has adopted He Chunyan and He Guiying's two daughters, and has done a lot of work to complete the marriages of He Chunyan and Yu Wenjian, Xiang Guiying and Yuan Hanying, and helped them form two happy families. As she herself said, He Chunyan and Yu Wenjian, "It is my suggestion for the two of them to form a family, Wen Jian has a heavy work task, there are many children in the family, and he can't take care of his face and his heart, so he can't find someone who doesn't know the bottom, even if he is good to Wen Jian, it's hard to say what he does to the children,....... I thought about this move more than a hundred times before I made up my mind. "A virtuous mother and a happy family are a man's stable and reliable "big rear", and a strong backing for a man to make a difference and succeed in his career. The reason why Yu Wenjian, the father of five children, and Yuan Hanying, a one-kidney, were able to fight without distractions, travel lightly, fight in the south and north, gallop on the battlefield, fight on the construction site, and make extraordinary achievements is inseparable from the full support of their families. After retiring, Yan Wenjuan, who held a leadership position, took the initiative to help her children take care of their children, like most mothers, so that they could devote themselves to their work. She raised her goddaughter and adopted daughter as if she were her own daughter, and these children also respected her as their own mother, and they had to ask for her opinions on major matters. As the saying goes, "no pain, no gain", Yan Wenjuan created happiness in her early years for her children, and the children also offered her happiness in her later years. The mother in Qu Lao's pen can be said to be able to go up to the hall and the kitchen, to fight on the horse, to run the family when he gets off the horse, to cultivate both inside and outside, to combine rigidity and softness, to struggle all his life, and to make merits, creating a perfect image of a flesh-and-blood, amiable and respectable typical Chinese mother.

Qu Lao has fought all his life, has entered the year of the cane dynasty, still diligently, pen and hard work, a breath still exists, more than creation, dedication to the cause of Chinese culture, is really commendable, admirable. In particular, many of his works are masterpieces of the Acura Party, the motherland, the people, and the heroes, interpreting Chinese history and traditional culture, disseminating contemporary Chinese values, and reflecting the aesthetic pursuit of the Chinese, which is in sharp contrast to some of today's so-called award-winning writers, literary traitors, and comprador literati who regard exposing ugliness as beauty, betraying the country for glory, maliciously vilifying China, slandering the people, slandering leaders, and smearing heroes. Today, with great changes unseen in a century, at a time when some people are influenced by Western culture and lack self-confidence in Chinese culture, and at a juncture when the mainland's ideological and cultural front is in danger of falling, we especially need more writers and literary works like Qu Lao who have the responsibility to take responsibility, sing the main theme, spread positive energy, promote truth, goodness and beauty, and lash out at the false, evil and ugly, so as to build China's cultural characteristics, enhance the mainland's cultural self-confidence, give full play to our cultural advantages, and escort the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
