A few days ago, I wrote an article titled "The Secret of Discussion in Ancient Poems, Wang Anshi Learned Du Fu Caused Controversy", which talked about the different ways of expression of Du Fu and others in writing poems to express their arguments.
It also cites the Song Dynasty Chen Yaozuo's Chaoyuan Pavilion. Unlike Du Fu's "Shu Xiang" and Wang Anshi's "Climbing the Peak of Da Mao Mountain" and other poems that are directly expressive, although Chen Yaozuo also expressed his views, he did not have a hue, which was "implicit".

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="79" >, Chen Yaozuo's implications</h1>
Zhou Zhenfu quoted a passage from Ruan's "Poetry Total Turtle" volume 15 in "Poetry Examples: Discussion in Poetry":
Although there are many poems in Lintong's "Chaoyuan Pavilion", only Chen Wensi's second rhyme is first published, saying: "Chaoyuan Gaoge is different, and Autumn has no hidden feelings." The floating clouds suddenly obscured, and Yuyang City was not seen. ”
The Song Dynasty poet Chen Yaozuo, in the "Chaoyuan Pavilion", satirized that when Tang Xuanzong was trying to rule in his early years, he was aware of the situation, and the courtiers could not deceive him. However, in his later years, he fainted and decayed, and pursued pleasure, which led to the chaos of Anshi.
However, in this poem, Chen Yaozuo did not directly express his own views, but used the way of writing scenes to implicitly satirize Tang Xuanzong's being deceived by "floating clouds covering the city".
Mr. Zhou Zhenfu said that this kind of implication is also a kind of discussion:
The intention is more subtle, so it is still a poetic discussion.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="20" > second, Li Shangyin's implications</h1>
In the "Poetry Examples: Implicit", Zhou Zhenfu explains:
Implicitness is not to make the meaning clear, to be included in the image written.
The poem "Chaoyuan Pavilion" is to speak with images. The poet's point of view is hidden in the image in the poem. For example, Floating Clouds represents Yu Chen, Yuyang Cheng represents renegade subjects, and Chao Yuan Ge alludes to Emperor Tang Ming.
In "Poetry Examples: Implicit", Mr. Zhou gave many examples of poems. For example:
And "Yaochi": "Yaochi Amu's window is open, and "Huang Zhu" is singing and mourning." Eight Jun travels 30,000 miles a day, why doesn't King Mu come back? He Zhuo commented: "The poem Yun: 'The general will not die, but he can still come.' 'If you don't come, you will die, and it is useless to ask for immortals.' (Li Yishan's Collected Poems, vol. 1)
In Li Shangyin's Seven Absolute Yaochi, the image of King Mu of Zhou represents the superstitious emperors who seek immortality. King Mu of Zhou and the Queen Mother of the West agreed to meet again three years later. But the fact that King Mu of Zhou was gone showed that he had died. Since King Mu of Zhou, who had a friendship with the Queen Mother of the West, had not escaped the natural law of birth, old age, illness and death, it showed that there was no use in seeking immortality.
Li Shangyin also has a famous seven-piece "Dragon Pond":
The dragon pond gave wine to the cloud screen, and the karma drum sounded high and the music stopped. In the middle of the night, the feast returned to the palace and the king of Xue woke up drunk.
King Shou and King Xue attended the Dragon Pond Feast, so why wasn't King Shou drunk? Because Yang Guifei at the banquet was once his wife, she was taken away by her father Emperor Xuanzong of Tang and became her stepmother. This feeling of mixed taste makes Shouwang's food unwilling to taste.
Li Shangyin's two poems do not directly express their own judgment, but leave it to the reader to ponder. Those who know the backstory of these two poems can naturally understand the poet's implications.

Tang Dezong lacked a person to draft a document, and Zhongshu Province recommended two people, but the emperor did not take a fancy. The following person asked Tang Dezong if he had any favorable people. The emperor said: This position should be given to Han Hong.
At that time, there were two Han Hong, so Zhongshu Province reported both of them. The Emperor's imperial pen replied:
"Spring City is full of flowers, cold food East Wind Royal Willow Slope." Candles were passed on at the Han Palace, and green smoke spread into the Wuhou family", with this Han Hong.
There are many stories of This Han Hong, and if you are interested, you can look at "Guan Tang Xi Lu 34 Han Hong, who wrote the flowers everywhere in Spring City, but was despised by young people and could not write poetry".
The last sentence of Han Hong's poem is the finishing touch, but Han Hong did not express his thoughts, but wrote about a phenomenon: green smoke dispersed into the Wuhou family.
Wu Qiao's "Poetry of the Hearth" Volume 1 commented:
Poetry has a subtle meaning, especially the non-opinioned storytellers at the top.
Han Hong's "Cold Food" poem Yun: "Spring City is everywhere flying flowers, cold food East Wind Royal Willow Slope." Candles were passed down at the Han Palace, and light smoke spread into the Wuhou family. "In the fall of the Tang Dynasty, because the eunuchs held the army, the Shidai Emperor gave them the handle. This poem was only seen in the early days of Emperor Dezong's construction, and only the word "Five Marquises" was seen, and the Tang poems were also known in the Spring and Autumn Period.
The reason for the fall of the Tang Dynasty was the influence of the dispute between the Niu and Li factions, the problem of the division of the feudal towns, and the collusion between these forces and eunuchs. Han Hong's poem satirizes the eunuch's excessive status.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="68" > concluding remarks</h1>
The implication in the poem is that the poet does not directly express the discussion, but through the way of writing scenes and narratives, it arouses the reader's thinking and allows the reader to find the answer by himself.
And this answer is easy for readers who understand the poet and the background of his work. Mei Yaochen of the Song Dynasty once said:
Scenes that can be difficult to write, such as in the present, contain inexhaustible meanings, are seen outside the words, and then they are the most important. The Poetry of June 1
