Nan'an City held a road traffic safety and muck truck special rectification work meeting

On the 28th, the Nan'an Road Traffic Safety and Muck Truck Special Rectification Work Conference was held to analyze the current road traffic safety situation and deploy the next stage of work.

Huang Yuqi, member of the Standing Committee of the Nan'an Municipal CPC Committee and executive vice mayor, stressed that it is necessary to have a clear understanding of the situation, stand in the front position, firmly establish the concept of life first and people first, conscientiously grasp the implementation of various tasks, and resolutely fight the road traffic safety defense war; we must grasp the joint management, strengthen measures, unite the joint efforts of departments, and implement the supervision responsibility of muck truck transportation; we must aim at the problem, grasp the source, strengthen the management of transport enterprises, consolidate the main responsibility of enterprises, improve the efficiency of enterprise safety management work, and make every effort to prevent major safety risks.

Since the beginning of this year, Nan'an City has continued to strengthen road law enforcement and control actions, and in the implementation of the joint penalty and joint release work, 804 muck trucks suspected of various violations of laws and regulations have been investigated and punished, and the penalty amount is more than 1.71 million yuan. The Nan'an Municipal Transportation Bureau, the Urban Management Bureau, the Traffic Police Brigade of the Public Security Bureau and other functional departments carried out joint law enforcement operations 34 times, and from time to time carried out unified law enforcement actions for the rectification of muck trucks throughout the city, carried out card rectification operations, and seized more than 60 vehicles suspected of violating laws and regulations. The city continues to carry out the investigation and rectification of hidden dangers in safe production, and a total of 391 general hidden dangers have been found, all of which have been rectified; continue to increase safety publicity and education, and a total of 504 drivers have been organized to directly participate in safety education meetings since June.
