Xiangyang Township is the highest mountain township in Nan'an City, with the highest altitude and the farthest distance from the city. In the Haishan Forest Farm of Zhuocuo Village in Xiangyang Township, thousands of acres of pure-seed aromatic camphor branches are leafy and lush, and in the middle of it, the fragrant camphor fragrance comes to the face, refreshing the heart. "Haishan Forest Farm planted 1080 acres of pure-seed aromatic camphor, while leading the masses to plant more than 1,000 acres, and cooperating with other forest farms to plant more than 1,500 acres, the annual output of aromatic camphor branches and leaves can reach more than 7,000 tons, and the output is increasing at a rate of 3,000 tons per year." Processing and refining aromatic camphor essential oil products are widely used in daily chemical products, health cosmetics, flavors and fragrances and other industries, most of the products are exported to the European and American markets. "Through flexible talent introduction and independent training, we have 10 agricultural technology professional and technical personnel, 5 scientific research personnel, and 2 high-tech academicians, and established expert workstations." Haishan Forest Farm not only planted a demonstration base for the promotion of pure-seeded aromatic camphor on the mu, but also led 186 households in the surrounding areas and poor households to plant more than 1,000 mu of aromatic camphor, of which 52 households were poor households. According to Lin Pengmei, after one year of aromatic camphor planting, the villagers themselves harvested the aromatic camphor branches and leaves, and the forest farm purchased and processed at a price of 1100 yuan per ton, and each grower could increase their income by an average of 35,000 yuan per year.
"In recent years, through the creation of a practice base for college students, the construction of a number of expert workstations, the creation of a three-rural maker space, the flexible introduction of agricultural experts from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Fujian Agricultural Vocational and Technical College and other units, the cumulative introduction of Quanzhou, Nan'an high-level talents 21, the establishment of 5 expert workstations, while carrying out various professional training, the cumulative cultivation of more than 200 Xiangyang makers, in 2021 to carry out 8 special training sessions, the number of participants 500 people."
