Liu Bocheng's life has experienced the entire process of the Chinese Revolutionary War. He judged the enemy's situation accurately, planned the battle carefully, was good at winning by surprise, was known for his clever calculation and resourcefulness, and was called the "god of the army" by Chairman Mao, commanded 9 founding marshals, and his life was legendary but very low-key.
In 1911, during the storm of the Xinhai Revolution, Liu Bocheng chose to join the army, and the next year he was admitted to the general school, familiar with military books and outstanding academics.
Known as the Bodhisattva in the army by his classmates, he participated in the Battle of Sichuan against Yuan, the War to Protect the Law, and the War against the Beiyang warlord Wu Peifu in the early days, and later joined the Communist Party, and was appointed by the Wuhan National Government as the commander of the provisional 15th Army, which was the first military commander position of the CCP in the National Revolutionary Army.
In 1926, during the Shunlu Rebellion, Liu Bocheng served as the commander-in-chief, commanded Zhu De and Chen Yi, two marshals, and in the course of the 167-day uprising, he dispatched troops and generals, advanced and retreated in a good way, and achieved the final victory. In 1931, Liu Bocheng served as chief of the General Staff of the Red Army, commanding Peng Dehuai, Lin Biao, Luo Ronghuan, Nie Rongzhen, Ye Jianying, and Chen Yi;
