This is the theme or key sentence of contemporary "family education". Well, obviously, "starting line" is the key word, "losing" is not! -- "Losing" and "winning" in today's "interest society" does not need to be repeated.
What is the "starting line"? What is the "starting line"? This needs to be profound and in-depth, and it is necessary to think through - where is the most fundamental "starting line"?
Dr. Wu Jun said in the "Wu Jun Reading and Writing Lecture Notes": "Vocabulary determines to some extent a person's intellectual level, quality of life and career development. This is a very meaningful and intriguing statement, and it speaks to the key to the development of life. At the same time, I also answered: vocabulary (quantity) is the "starting line" of the individual! Instead of a famous kindergarten, a famous primary school, a key middle school, a "211" 985" and a "double first-class" university! Isn't it? Any individual is not "starting" from the Ya Ya learning language - vocabulary (another name for vocabulary). The quantity and quality of this "fundamental point" is really:
"Determines the level of intelligence of a person" - illiterate, can we talk about a high level of intelligence?
"Determines the quality of life of people" - do not speak English, even if you have money, visit London's Westminster Abbey, what will be the "taste"?
"Determines people's career development" - professional and technical language does not reach a considerable peak, can you become a famous doctor, professor, senior engineer and professional manager?
In short, the "dialect vocabulary" is not developed, I am afraid that visiting "A world", "heaven on the sky", "the end of the world" are a bit "difficult to walk", right?
Where do the vocabulary come from? Apparently "accumulated".
How to accumulate? The monograph "Modern Chinese" (Huang Borong and Li Wei's version) emphasizes: "One is to listen more and consciously absorb vocabulary in real language life; the second is to read more, read various types of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign works, and draw vocabulary from them; the third is to multi-use, strengthen writing and oral training, and consciously use all kinds of vocabulary." This can be called the "Trinitarian" approach to word accumulation.
With this "three more" as the scale, I am afraid that there are not a few people who have already "lost on the starting line", right? Does the family provide children with a "scholarly" language environment? What kind of language environment does today's network provide for people? Isn't the "science fiction" that Huxley feared in his 1932 science fiction novel Brave New World that "no one wants to read anymore" and that "truth is drowned in boring and tedious things" is "reality" today? How many people are still patiently immersed in ancient and modern Chinese and foreign masterpieces and "absorb vocabulary"? "Afraid of composition" is even more "common disease", right? How can we do a good job of "consciously using all kinds of vocabulary"?
Taking the vocabulary or vocabulary as the "caliper", it should probably be a "card" to cover a basic skill and the highest level.
