The "Rat Exterminating Record" in the upper and lower episodes of "I Love My Home" was born from Liang Zuo's novel of the same name. During the writing of the script of "I Love My Home", Liang Zuo told Liang Tian that director Yingda wanted to make a comedy, but this form had never been seen in China, and it was a new form he brought back from the United States. Liang Zuo told him that this play combines the characteristics of a lot of cross-talk creation, combined with film and television performances, which is more suitable for you. Liang Tian took a look at the script and said in his heart, which is suitable for me, basically according to my writing, the character talks and the state of my previous character talking is similar. In fact, don't say the audience, even Liang Tian himself did not understand the relationship during the shooting. When "Close Relatives" was filmed, Liang Tian's father was seriously ill and was taken to the hospital, his heart stopped beating for four minutes, and the notice of critical illness was sent to the family. In the six days of shooting these two episodes, Liang Tian rehearsed during the day and rushed to the Xiehe Hospital at night to accompany the bed, reading the script while accompanying the nurse, people were a little confused, always felt that the state was not right, and did not figure out the origin of the things in the script.

Liang Tian ran at both ends of the hospital on the set in those days, and his heart was extremely anxious. When he was in the hospital, Liang Zuo told him a story. The art master Hou Baolin once received a task to immediately travel for the performance of the poor and lower-middle peasants, but at that time, his daughter was critically ill, and Hou Baolin boarded the train in order not to delay the performance. When the train arrived in the countryside, Hou Baolin's daughter was gone. But when it came to the performance, he still had to say crosstalk to the audience and send them laughter. After listening to this story, Liang Tian felt that it was too difficult to be an actor.

When Liang Zuo wrote the two episodes of "Close Relatives", he specially put in a romantic but somewhat inexplicable poem. "I'm not yet of sensible age, but I've already fallen in love; as long as you leave half a step, you'll always find me in tears." Day after day my love is growing, it is a combination of nature, an image of innocence, like Affili and Asdadette. ”

Written in the diary of Zhixin's mother, this poem played a key role in promoting the development of the entire plot. According to Xiao Fan, a college student at home, Afiri and Asdadai are characters in the Persian Letters, and the author of the book is Montesquieu.

Writing here, Liang Zuo had some impressions in his mind, but he was afraid of making a mistake and wanted to find a book to confirm. Dai Yannian happened to have this book in his bookcase, but he had never read it, so he gave it to Liang Zuo.

On July 7, 1993, the first forty episodes of "I Love My Home" began filming at the China Institute of Labor Movement, and it was filmed in a few months.
