The Objective Nature of Money

The advent of money has begun to shake the moral universe of many people. Some people even use money to consolidate their social circles, and friends and lovers with money relationships appear. In the eyes of people today, money is almost omnipotent, and there is also a saying: money can make ghosts grind. This is also true from a macro perspective. Money has no life, so it has not taught human beings how to look at money, which can be extended: the fault is not in money, the fault is in the attitude of human beings to money. Jewelry, gold, and many, many other luxuries of great value distort the morality of some people, because these luxuries are money in their eyes. Theft has thus become a popular practice from ancient times to the present, reflecting not the rise and fall of an era, but the reflection of moral degeneration. Society cannot achieve absolute fairness, and some people who cannot meet the interests of the current society, of course, there are also those who are forced to be helpless because they are too poor, and the interests drive them to become thieves, thus embarking on the road of thieves. The reason why reality is realistic is only because society is material, and in many cases, people's subjective thinking is easily affected by attractive objective matter, and they make mistakes again and again while making wrong choices.

Makarenko once said that money is the most demonic invention in this society. This sentence is not wrong in general, but if you look closely in philosophical terms, this sentence seems absolute. Because money is only an objective substance, it has no value and meaning, but people have given it value and meaning, and the term "money" has appeared at the same time as giving value, and the emergence of money provides another entrance for interests, just by relying on money itself, it does not mean that it can make a person become greedy, if people's attitude toward money is right, it is impossible to affect people's moral quality.

The invention of money has a two-sided impact on life, it makes transactions in society more convenient, but it also makes people's morality distorted only from the contradiction of money itself to society, and they all hope that it does not exist, but it cannot not exist, which also shows the importance of money for this society, and the development of society needs money as a support. I once heard a saying that makes perfect sense: we make money to live, but we never live to make money. Therefore, it is important to recognize the value of money, but it is also important to look at it with the right eyes. Money is convenient for society, but it is never used to enslave us.
