Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

author:Read poems every day

Speaking of Tang Dynasty poets, it can be said that each one has his own unique personality and characteristics, Li Bai is romantic and wild, Du Fu is low-key and depressed, Wang Wei is sleek and smooth, Liu Yuxi is upright and outspoken... Of course, in addition to these poets, there are also Tang Dynasty poets who have the worst character to kill their nephews for a poem, Song Zhiqing, who wrote "Hoe He Day When Noon" but became a corrupt official cool official Li Sheng...

Today we want to talk about a famous great poet of the Tang Dynasty, whose poems were learned in primary school texts, and the writing was very wonderful, and it is said that Li Bai did not dare to write poems after reading this poem. It is this song "Yellow Crane Tower":

Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

The people of the past have gone by the Yellow Crane, and the Yellow Crane Tower is empty here.

The yellow crane is gone, and the white clouds are long in the air.

Harukawa calendar Hanyang tree, yerba buena parrot island.

Where is Nippori Pass? The Smoke Wave River is sad.

The author of this poem is Cui Hao, although we have only studied his poem, but he was very famous at that time, and he entered the army and the first before the age of 20, which can be described as a great talent. Of course, this poem has always been highly praised, according to relevant information, Cha Shenxing's "Commentary on the Poetry of Chubai'an" said: This poem is the later seven laws of the yuan, taking its qi bureau to carry out. The Southern Song Dynasty poetry theorist Yan Yu even pushed this poem as the first of the Seven Laws of the Tang Dynasty in the "Canglang Poetry": the Seven Laws of the Tang Dynasty, when Cui Hao's "Yellow Crane Tower" was the first. In addition to these, there is also Wu Changqi, who commented on this poem as "the song of eternity": not ancient and lawless, also ancient law, thousands of autumns, why li tang?

In addition to so many objective literary evaluations, a legend about Li Bai's writing of poetry is even more evidence of the level of this poem. Legend has it that when Li Bai was traveling around, he came to Wuchang, climbed the Yellow Crane Tower, overlooked the rolling water of the Yangtze River and the vast Hanyang Plain on the other side, and couldn't help but think of a poem, but just when he picked up the pen, he thought that Cui Hao already had Cui Hao's "Yellow Crane Tower" in the pavilion, Li Bai read it, and jointly praised "Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!" Against the background of this poem, Li Bai did not dare to write again, but just wrote a poem about oil:

One punch smashed the Yellow Crane Tower, and one kick overturned Parrot Island.

There is a scene in front of you, and Cui Hao's inscription poem is on the top.

Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

After writing this oil poem, Li Bai put down the pen he picked up and sighed that he might as well go downstairs. Although this is only a legend, it is enough to prove the extremely high level of Cui Hao's "Yellow Crane Tower". Putting aside Li Bai's story of "putting pen to rest and stop writing", Li Bai's real imitation of this poem is more convincing, that is, this "Dengjinling Phoenix Platform"

Phoenix on the phoenix stage phoenix tour, phoenix to the Taikong River self-flow.

WuGong flowers and grass buried in the path, the Jin Dynasty crown into an ancient hill.

Three mountains and half of the blue sky, two waters divided into egret islands.

There are always floating clouds that can cover the sun, and Chang'an is not seen to make people sad.

Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

Reading this poem carefully, it is not difficult to find that it is actually a complete imitation of "Yellow Crane Tower", even the rhyme foot is the same! A "Yellow Crane Tower" let the poet xian shelve the pen and imitate, so that the Yellow Crane Tower became famous at home and abroad, which is enough to see Cui Hao's ability to write poetry. But the name Cui Hao is still very unfamiliar to us, just like a popular pop song now, we don't know what kind of poet the author behind it is?

Speaking of Cui Hao, he and Li Bai, Meng Haoran, Wang Wei, and Du Fu should be the poets of the Sheng Tang Dynasty in the same period, under the brilliance of Wang Wei and Wang Changling, Cui Hao's brilliance may have been covered up, but his talent was also very famous at that time, after all, he was less than 20 years old, which was rare in ancient times. But why didn't Cui Hao come into our field of vision like Li Du, and even the historical records are very few? This starts with his character.

Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

The old book of Tang actually mentions him and Wang Changling, Meng Haoran, and Gao Shi, who were full of eunuchs and ups and downs all his life, and they were all the most basic petty officials, depressed.

Another work that records the Tang Dynasty poet Xin Wenfang's "Biography of Tang Caizi" records: "Teenagers are poets, their meaning is flashy, they are more light and thin", "They are slightly inferior in their deeds, good (and) Bo, alcoholics, those who marry wives and choose beauty, they abandon it if they are not comfortable, and they are easy to be three or four." This means that Cui Hao could write poetry at a very young age, but many of the poems he wrote when he was young were the flashy works of women in the boudoir, and the world felt that his poems were too frivolous and rude. In addition to these, Cui Hao's behavior makes people look down on him, likes to gamble and drink, marries his daughter-in-law and chooses good-looking ones, abandons others when he is slightly dissatisfied, and often changes wives.

The above record of Cui Hao is not a legend, but based on historical data, so the world says that Cui Hao "has no writing and no line", writes poetry and is flashy, and his frivolous behavior is looked down upon whether in the feudal dynasty or now, not to mention that he also likes to gamble, alcoholism, no matter how talented, no matter how big the family business can not resist gambling, this is probably the reason why Cui Hao is talented but has done nothing in his life. At that time, it was not unusual for three wives and four concubines to be married, and it was normal for a daughter-in-law to pick a beautiful one, but it was morally unreasonable to divorce others if they were slightly dissatisfied and tired of staying together.

Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

In addition to these objective historical records, there are two other small stories about Cui Hao in the Biography of Tang Caizi, one is the story of "Li Bai shelving his pen and stopping poetry" mentioned earlier, and the other is the story of his frivolous behavior and being driven out of the house by his master. Legend has it that at that time, there was a famous scholar in the Tang Dynasty who was highly respected in morality and articles, who was Li Yong, the Taishou of Beihai. When Li Yong heard that Cui Hao's poetry was famous, he invited him to come to his home as a guest, and at the banquet, Cui Hao saw Li Yong's family room and wrote a poem "The Young Woman of the Wang Family":

Fifteen married Wang Chang, Yingying into the painting hall.

Since he was young, he relied on his son-in-law as a lang.

Dance love before the creek green, song pity the night long.

Fight hundreds of grasses in your spare time, and spend your days without makeup.

Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

This poem is written by Cui Hao modeled on the ancient poems of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and the "Wang Chang" in the poem is a person from the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and in the poems, it is often juxtaposed with the first beautiful man in China, "Song Yu", so "Wang Chang" refers to "male god" and "rich and handsome". And the sentence "Fighting hundreds of grasses in idle time, living a day without makeup" is even more written out that Li Yong's inner room lived a rich and graceful and lazy life.

Supposedly, this poem is not very problematic, but the occasion is not appropriate. First, Li Yong was a very serious person at that time, attached great importance to morality and ethics, and was a standard Confucian scholar in his heart; second, the two met for the first time, and Li Yong was an elder, Cui Hao was still relatively young, the first time they met, what was not good, and they wrote about other people's women's homes in a dignified manner, which naturally annoyed Li Yong. So after Li Yong heard this, he shouted at him loudly, "Xiao'er is rude, get out!" He blasted Cui Hao out.

Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

In the second half of his life, Cui Hao, who has a high IQ and low emotional intelligence, can be described as encountering walls everywhere, wandering in the rivers and lakes for more than 20 years, and has always been unsuccessful, but in the second half of his life, his poetry style has undergone a great change, from writing flashy boudoir works in his youth to the majestic and unrestrained home country poetry in middle age, he was finally despised by the world for poetry, and also because of the emaciation of poetry, he finally died thirteen years before the Anshi Rebellion.

Cui Hao: I have learned his "Yellow Crane Tower" since I was a child, but behind the poetry, his words and deeds are disdainful

The prodigal son does not change his head. Moreover, the prodigal son of his youth is the past tense, history is fair, and the poetry works left behind are even more obvious to all, Cui Hao is thousands of years away from us, but his poetry is still often lingering in our ears, for the Yellow Crane Tower itself, for the name of the Yellow Crane Tower, Cui Hao is beside us.
