The exhibition is divided into nine chapters, including preface, shanxi trip, and western learning and use, through more than 190 reproductions and nearly 400 photos, showing Mr. Liang Sicheng's footprints in Shanxi ancient architecture investigation and positive contributions to the cause of cultural relics protection in China.

The preface of the first exhibition hall introduces the contribution of the construction society represented by Mr. Liang Sicheng to the research of ancient architecture in China; the second exhibition hall of Shanxi, showing the footprints of Mr. Liang, Lin and the members of the construction society going to Shanxi to investigate ancient buildings; the third exhibition hall is used in western learning, which reflects the perfect fit of western learning knowledge and mapping techniques in the West and the ancient architecture research used by Mr. Liang Sicheng when he studied abroad and the tools used in the ancient architecture survey since then; the fourth exhibition hall is influenced by the family style, It shows the Liang family's family style of "unity of knowledge and action"; the fifth exhibition hall deciphers the "Book of Heaven", shows Mr. Liang's annotation work on Song's "Building the French Style", lays the most stable cornerstone for the academic circles to recognize ancient buildings, evaluate ancient buildings, diagnose ancient buildings, protect ancient buildings, display ancient buildings, and other complete set of industry functions; the sixth exhibition hall of ancient buildings and surveys, through the display of the ancient construction and inspection materials of Mr. Liang and Lin, shows his solid academic work of field investigation, ancient construction surveying and mapping, to collating and archiving and academic publishing The seventh exhibition hall of the craftsman craftsman language, introduced Mr. Liang Sicheng to follow the concept of "craftsman as a teacher" and "communication craftsman Confucianism", interviewed the working methods of "great carpenters, famous workers and old officials of the ministry of works, sample houses, and arithmetic room experts", based on which a series of classic academic achievements were formed; the works in the eighth exhibition hall showed mr. Liang's lifelong painstaking works and those English manuscripts, typing manuscripts, reprints, and articles translated into various languages before they could be published; the ninth exhibition hall inherited the prospect, It shows that under the spiritual inspiration of Mr. Liang, the descendants of the academic community have made positive contributions to the cause of cultural relics protection in Shanxi.

Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin have deep roots in ancient architecture in Shanxi. In the 1930s, Liang Sicheng came to Shanxi four times to conduct ancient architecture surveys: the first time, to investigate the ancient buildings of Datong, the Yungang Grottoes and the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda; the second time, the places he visited included the Jinci Temple in Taiyuan; the third time, the field surveyed and surveyed the ancient buildings found in the Jinfen area; the fourth time, the Wutaishan Foguang Temple was found, and the Tang Dynasty wooden structures were found. What marks have Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin left on their several trips to Shanxi? How to recognize Liang Sicheng's ancient spirit? These questions will all be found in the exhibition. This exhibition opens a window for the public to read and recognize architecture in the form of pictures and physical displays.
