This family letter full of heroic feelings in his words comes from the revolutionary martyr Liu Bojian.

Liu Bojian, born in 1895 in Pingchang, Sichuan, was a member of the Communist Party of China in the early days of its founding. After joining the party, he always adhered to his original intention, took the liberation of the workers and peasants as his life's mission, and was born and died for the party's cause until he was heroic and righteous.

In early March 1935, Liu Bojian led his troops to move to break through, and was shot several times in the battle, unfortunately wounded and arrested. Five days before his execution, he wrote this family letter to his brothers and sisters-in-law. The letter wrote that he was unwilling to "lose the personality of a revolutionary" because he knew that he and his former friends "took a different path." The sonorous and forceful expression and the loud statement fully embody Liu Bojian's uncompromising political conviction on the issue of revolutionary principles.

The letter also explained in detail the whereabouts of his son, and he implored his relatives to find the child to help raise him, and stated that he "cannot do it for the Chinese nation for his family and individuals" and asked his brother and sister-in-law to understand.
