In the first three quarters, Shenzhen's imports and exports to countries along the "Belt and Road" increased by 14.3%

According to customs statistics, in the first three quarters of this year, Shenzhen's total import and export volume to countries along the "Belt and Road" was 547.02 billion yuan, an increase of 14.3% year-on-year (hereinafter the same). Among them, exports were 277.86 billion yuan, an increase of 16.8%; imports were 269.16 billion yuan, an increase of 11.9%.

Customs statistics show that in the first three quarters of this year, Shenzhen's main trade methods with countries along the "Belt and Road" have achieved growth. Among them, the proportion of general trade with longer industrial chains, higher added value, and more reflective of the independent development ability of enterprises has increased, and the trade structure has been continuously optimized. In the first three quarters, Shenzhen imported and exported 305.69 billion yuan to countries along the "Belt and Road" in the form of general trade, an increase of 18.1%, accounting for 55.9% of the total import and export value of Shenzhen to countries along the "Belt and Road" in the same period, an increase of 1.8 percentage points over the same period last year. At the same time, the import and export of processing trade and bonded logistics also showed a steady growth trend.

In terms of trading partners, ASEAN is Shenzhen's largest trading partner in the Belt and Road Initiative. In the first three quarters, Shenzhen's imports and exports to ASEAN amounted to 377.03 billion yuan, accounting for 68.9% of shenzhen's total import and export value to countries along the "Belt and Road" in the same period, an increase of 12%. In addition, imports and exports to India, Russia, Hungary and the United Arab Emirates all recorded rapid growth.

In terms of products, in the first three quarters, Shenzhen exported products from countries along the "Belt and Road", mechanical and electrical products accounted for nearly 80%, exports of mechanical and electrical products reached 219.03 billion yuan, an increase of 21.5%, the main products include electrical equipment, electronic components, computers and other automatic data processing equipment and their parts, liquid crystal display boards, etc.
