Zhu Dunru (1081-1159), also known as Yishui Old Man, Mr. Luochuan, and Shaomushanren. He was a famous lyricist of the Song Dynasty.
In his early years, Zhu Dunru promised himself to be a high priest, and was twice recommended as a scholar and did not serve as an official. In the second year of Shaoxing, in 1132 AD, someone recommended Zhu Dunru to the imperial court, saying that he had the talent of the world. Zhu Dunru's greatest contribution is in literary creation, and his lyrics and compositions are fluent in language, fresh and natural. His style of words can be divided into three stages: the early years of the word style is rich and beautiful; the middle-aged word style is passionate and generous; and the word style is gentle and clear after idleness. Compared with most of the lyricists at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, he made a lot of efforts in the development of themes, in addition to the two types of words of anger and leisurely life in times of worry, there are also works on palace grievances, immortals and satirical world conditions. His later words are fresh and clear, understand nature, and often use ordinary spoken language. His style of words was broad, sweeping away the atmosphere of elegance and femininity, and he became a family of his own, occupying a unique position in the lexicon at that time. Zhu Dunru wrote the "Poetry of the Old Man of the Rock Valley", which has been lost; there is now a collection of words "Qiao Song", also known as "Taiping Qiao Song".
Zhu Dunru is known as "Cijun", and together with "Shijun" Chen Youyi, he is known as "Luozhong Eight Jun".
