Wang Yue (王粲), courtesy name Zhongxuan, was a native of Gaoping, Shanyang (present-day Weishan, Shandong), and one of the seven sons of Jian'an during the Three Kingdoms period.
There are more than 60 poems, fus, etc., which were compiled by scholars in the book "Wang Shizhong Collection" during the Ming Dynasty.
Wang Cang came from a wealthy family, his great-grandfather Wang Gong was a lieutenant of the Eastern Han Dynasty, his grandfather Wang Chang was the Eastern Han Dynasty Sikong, and his father Wang Qian was the long history of the Han Dynasty general He Jin.
Wang Cang has little talent.
In the fourth year of Chuping (193 AD), he was summoned by the imperial court to serve as a waiter at the Yellow Gate, but due to the unstable situation, Wang Yue was not called to take up his post at the age of seventeen.
Soon, Wang Cang defected to Liu Biao, a fellow villager who was then jingzhou mu.
Wang Yue was thin and weak, his appearance was not proud, and he was informal, Liu Biao took people by his appearance, and he has not been reused.

After Liu Biao's death, Wang Cang urged Liu Biao's son Liu Qun to surrender to Cao Cao, and was later entrusted by Cao Cao with a heavy responsibility, serving as a chancellor at his side and being made the Marquis of Guannei.
In the eighteenth year of Jian'an (213), Cao Cao was made the Prince of Wei and made Wang Yue his attendant.
"Naturalistic knowledge, ask all the right questions", Wang Yue knows a lot, others ask some questions, he did not answer the time.
Not only that, but his memory is super strong, to a surprising extent.
The Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms records: "In the beginning, Cang traveled with people, read the Daobian stele, and the people asked: 'Can Qing secretly recite'? "Yes"! ”
It is said that once, Wang Yue was traveling with a person and saw a stone stele on the side of the road.
The man saw the dense words on the stone tablet and wanted to test Wang Cang to see if he was really a superman of memory or a vain name.
The man asked him, "Can you recite it?" ”
Wang Yue said happily, "Yes! ”
Then he turned around to recite it, and the man looked at the inscription and found that not a word was bad.

Another time, Wang Cang was watching others play chess, and someone accidentally messed up the pieces of Go, and Wang Cang immediately arranged them according to the original appearance.
The chess players did not believe in Wang Yue's ability, so they covered the chess game with a handkerchief, found another set of Go, and asked him to rearrange the pieces.
After Wang Cang was arranged, the chess player opened the handkerchief and was surprised to find that the two chess games were not bad at all, exactly the same.
Wang Cang not only has an amazing memory, but also is good at calculation, doing arithmetic problems, and can quickly write out answers.
"Good belongs to the text, the pen is completed, there is no change, and people often think that it is a suzerainty; but it is reverting to contemplation, and it cannot be added."
Wang Cang also wrote articles very quickly, never making drafts, and people thought that he had conceived them in advance.
At that time, even if the literati were carefully conceived, they could not catch up with Wang Cang.
Unfortunately, there is a word called "Heavenly Envy Talent", and Wang Yue's life expectancy is very short.
In the spring of the twenty-second year of Jian'an (217), when Cao Cao was on his campaign against Eastern Wu, Wang Yue accompanied him and died of illness on the way back to the capital at the age of forty-one.
