The original theatrical version of the anime Senko CENCOROLL, which was supervised, scripted, and illustrated by Atsuya Ugi, was released in 2009 to considerable acclaim. After a gap of 10 years, the official announcement of the anniversary plan, the new theatrical version of "Senko CENCOROLL CONNECT" announced production.
This new theatrical version will include a brief recollection of the previous work "CENCOROLL". and the content of the new work "CENCOROLL2", the animation will be released on June 29, 2019.
CENCOROLL tells the story of a giant monster that suddenly appears on the roof of a building in an ordinary town, and the Self-Defense Forces are on the move. During the riots in the town, the maiden Snow stumbles upon tetsu's secret from the same school— he keeps Chiko, a strange creature similar to a monster, as a pet. Driven by curiosity, Shiyuki is very interested in the relationship between Tetsu and Chiko. At this time, a mysterious teenager who controls a huge monster suddenly starts a war. What are they fighting for? What are their bodies? What is the fate of snow that is caught up in the battle?
