In the commentary "The Yanyi of the Yang Family Generals", there are two mountain thieves, who captured the Eight Kings, Kou Zhun, and Hu Yanzan respectively, and Yang Liulang immediately confessed as soon as he came. Who are these two mountain thieves? Meng Liang and Jiao Zan.

Meng Liang and Jiao Zan are the mountain thieves of the Bazha Mountain in "The Yanyi of the Yang Family General", both of them have been begging for drinks since childhood, and when they grow up, they learn a martial art, and they fall into the grass. They occupied Mount Bacha and became mountain thieves. Meng Liang made a large axe, and his ability was similar to that of Cheng Biting Jin in the "Sui and Tang Dynasties". When Kou Zhun and Hu Yanzan were passing through The Bazha Mountains, they were captured alive by Meng Liangsheng. Jiao Zan uses a pickaxe iron soap gun, and when the Eight Sages King passes through the Bacha Mountain, he is captured by Jiao Zansheng.
Meng Liang also has a powerful weapon, called "Fire Gourd", as soon as he slaps the top of the gourd, the gourd mouth will shoot out a ball of flames, which can burn the enemy general. Meng Liang and Jiao Zan were so powerful, as soon as Yang Liulang arrived at Mount Bazha, Meng Liang and Jiao Zan immediately confessed. Why? I really can't beat Yang Liulang. Later, Meng Liang went to the Liao Kingdom to steal the bones of the old Linggong, and Jiao Zan secretly followed him, only to be killed by Meng Liang by mistake. Grief-stricken, Meng Liang handed over the bones to the veteran and committed suicide by Jiao Zan's side. As the saying goes, "Jiao liang is not separated from Meng", that is to say, Meng Liang and Jiao Zan are not separated from life and death.
