Sun Liu was a late Qing Dynasty scholar, who not only enjoyed a high reputation in the calligraphy circles of the Republic of China, but also had a fairly solid foundation in traditional Chinese studies. Qian Xuesen later recalled: "Teacher Li Cai wrote a short sentence with a pen, which is the beginning of the practice of characters. ”
