Some people say that the Mongols have nothing to do with Chinese?
This is mainly twofold: first, the Golden Horde established in Russia by the descendants of The Jurchens after the rise of the Mongols, and the fusion of the Mongols and the Slavs, but there are also some Mongols who have not assimilated.
There are many famous people in the history of the Soviet Union who have Mongolian ancestry, such as Lenin, who has Mongolian ancestry, and Lenin's grandparents are Kalmyks, and these Mongols are the Turks who did not return to the east, or did not succeed in returning to the east. Don't forget that the Turks are pure Mongols and have the deepest ties to China.
The second was the complete submission of the Mongols. In addition to the Mongols entering the Central Plains during the Yuan Dynasty, do not forget that Mongolia was already a central plains territory as early as the Han Dynasty, and by the Qing Dynasty it was only solidified as a subject of the Central Plains Dynasty, if it were not for the rise of the Russian Empire and the wanton occupation of Chinese territory, many Mongols would not have become Russians. The Kalmyks and Tuvans, for example, were responsible for the rise of the Russian Empire.
Now there are Western experts who include the yellow race in the Mongolian race, this division is not scientific, just a name. The actual history of the Mongols is very short, some of them still ran to Mongolia from the Central Plains, and it is not correct to regard the Mongols as yellow people. Some scholars believe that the Mongols are actually very mixed, related to the ancient Xiongnu and also related to the Chinese Xia Dynasty. But it is not correct for ethnic groups living in areas with little civilization to be adults. But this is an academic issue, let's not discuss, anyway, China's origins are very deep.

It is not surprising that some yellow people of Mongolian ancestry have appeared in Russia to serve as high-ranking officials, and after hundreds of years of evolution, the Mongols in some Russian territories have long diluted the Mongol blood, and they are more recognized as Russians. This is the result of the continuous assimilation of Russia and the Soviet Union.
In fact, not only in Russia, there were yellow faces, but also in the Soviet Union, there were also yellow faces, but there were very few, and some mixed races were difficult to distinguish. In addition to Lenin, there was also the Soviet Marshal Timoshenko, whose surname was derived from the Mongolian nobility and was a descendant of the Assimilation of the Mongols after Ukraine. There was also the early Soviet cavalry commander Oka Grodvikov, who was a Kalmyk.
According to historical records, some russian tsars also had Mongol ancestry. This stems primarily from the rise of Russia in the Golden Horde at the time of its rise. Russia's rise was due to the Golden Horde. The Golden Horde established by the Mongols was not a well-managed state, but at least it was more than enough to suppress the local Russians. In order to facilitate administration, the Golden Horde chose a "spokesman", that is, the Muscovite Principality at that time, and let this Russian tribe collect taxes for its administration. It is a similar to the "puppet army" that Japan engaged in during the War of Resistance.
The Muscovite Principality worked hard for the Golden Horde, and the Golden Horde neglected to administer the principality, so the Muscovite Principality continued to rise, which became the Russian Empire. But when the Russian Empire ruled the Golden Horde, they intermarried well with the Golden Horde, which is why later some tsars looked more Russian-like, and the Russian Empire would not have risen without intermarriage with the nobles of the Golden Horde.
It can be seen that there are many mixed descendants of Russians and Mongols, so that Russians and Mongols are well integrated, and even if they are not integrated, for Russians, they have a strong affinity for the Mongols in the territory.

When Russia fought the epidemic in 2020, the mayor of Moscow also had a yellow face, and he was Sergei Sobyanin. However, in the encyclopedia, Sobyanin does not show Mongolian ancestry. But Sobyanin was born in Tyumen Oblast, which borders Kazakhstan. We all know that Kazakhstan has many yellow faces, and although many Kazakhs call themselves Turkic, they also have many ties to the Mongols. Therefore, Sobyanin is yellow.
For friends to mention the phenomenon of yellow people in Russian politics, it actually shows that there are not many Russian Mongolians who are high-ranking officials. From the perspective of Russian politics, the vast majority are ethnic Russians. The same was true of the Soviet Union, where there were not many yellow faces. The Russians were a nation with a strong sense of nationality, and the Soviet Union was also an alliance developed with Russia as the main body. So Russians generally assimilate other ethnic groups, and while yellow faces appear at the top, for some nationalists they don't like to see that.
In our impression, Russia is all Caucasian, and after watching it, the appearance of yellow faces feels strange. In fact, no matter how tolerant Russia is, it will not let foreigners hold the supreme leadership. Not only Russia, but in any country, the juche nation is the absolute ruler.
