One of Ye Gong's letters

Commentary:

Brother Bo Ying: Lu Shihui, the nephew introduced in the previous letter, hereby praises him and prays to the Governor. Lu Chuan (Zeng Keqian, a famous poet and calligrapher in the Republic of China period) wrote to Yun: Someone went to Chongqing during the day trip, and Yu Yu took two bottles of cod liver oil essence and Mei Jieyun, praying for consultation first, and the medicine was sent. On this, Reverie, twenty-two

Ye Gongqi was a great collector, and in addition to devoting himself to the cause of transportation in his early years, he was proficient in art painting, calligraphy, poetry, and cultural relics appraisal. The "Duck Head Pill Thesis" of Wang Xianzhi in the Shanghai Museum was originally his collection. Ye Gongqiu and Pan Boying had a long time of interaction. In 1929, Ye Gongqi presented Pan Boying with the Dunhuang Sui People Writing Scripture Scrolls, and Pan Boying specially asked Tang Ton to carve a "Sui Scripture Room" Zhu Wenyin. Introduced by Ye Gong in 1933, Pan Boying entered Jinan University to teach Mandarin.

Ye Gong's letter is the second

Bo Yingru: Recently sick and tired, so Rare correspondence, this morning a little leisure, the peony poems are sorted into four groups, one. Last year (1953) ten songs (1, 2) two pieces, this year's first (first group) seven songs listed as the third paper, the second (second group) of the red grid paper written, with red pen (the third group) twelve songs, with ink pen editor (another group) six songs, the other group can be said to have nothing to do with peonies, so the arrangement seems to be more appropriate, hereby send for reading, beggars and Tong Lao (Zhang Shizhao) sent to the opposite but echo, its other group will be written or not written in the future, if written must be declared as an appendix, so the method does not know why? Looking forward to seeing the instructions in more detail, there is still no need to show anyone, there is no need to rush. One. The figure has not yet been drawn, II. Tong Lao (Zhang Shizhao) recently fought with Xia Weiru (Xia Renhu, librarian of the Central Museum of Culture and History), and I am afraid that the following will not be over, and I have already trunceed. Yu Song Shi Zhi, Reverie, May 19

Ye Gong's letter is the fourth

Bo Ying's feet: I have not read the book for a long time, and I am very relieved to have a letter. Rhymes as discussed in the book come to an end for a while, and then listen to the next time to break the ear. However, his poverty is true to himself, he is bitter and speechless, he is particularly anxious, and in the past year, he has specialized in cultural miscellaneous battles, his eyesight and full strength are not good, and his memory is quite bitter, but he is even more ashamed of his contribution. The most shameful vegetarian meal in life, this old and anti-sitting food is contrary to the dream, but the energy is limited, any department can not go deep and achieve success, how can catch up with the trend, I am afraid that there is no reason to progress, this cover by decades of lack of dedication to the blame, regret has not reached! Junnian is rich, Yi Si is so dedicated to the world, shu does not live up to the education of the past, and follows the mistakes of the old man. The tomb text does not want to resign, so hesitation is not enough to call the will of the king, and can not even call itself, so that the layout of the idea is clueless, such as the state of mind or can be at ease, the flow is not necessary. Dedicated to the Rites of Honor, 9 July

In Ye Gongqi's letter, there is a letter that reads: "Smelling the lack of good ink, I picked up four custom products of Wu Zhuzhuang, offered to Dye Han, prayed for Save, and reverie." Another letter was about the traditional craft of book engraving, he told Pan Boying: "There are only three remaining engravers in Beiping Wenkaizhai, and now they are raised by Shouhe, and the rest are scattered. He was worried about the current situation of this traditional craft, and hoped that Pan Boying would relay to Zhang Shizhao: "If someone intends to maintain the engravings in Nanjing and Wuchang, but there must be economic support, it is expected that if he raises 30 million or 40 million yuan and replenishes them with an interest of 5 or 6 million yuan per month, he will be able to maintain these three places." "The concern is great.

Ye Gong believed in the fifth

Brother Bo Ying: Before talking about the carving fortifications, yesterday Yuan Shouhe (former deputy director of the Library of the Palace Museum) came to talk about the beiping Wenkai zhai carving workers, there are only three remaining people, and now they are raised by Shouhe (monthly millet and less wages), Yu has changed to dispersion, and cloud: If someone plans to maintain the engraving work in Nanjing and Wuchang, Qu is willing to do whatever he wants, but there must be economic support. Yu estimated that if he raised 30 million or 40 million yuan and replenished it with interest of 5 or 6 million yuan a month, he would be able to maintain these three places of the Qiao Clan and his party, and he did not know whether the old man (Zhang Shizhao) had this intention or not. It is not to make it sit down, still order to engrave the book, so the contribution is equal to the advance salary, but the printing is another matter (to Chengdu the engraving work is useless to maintain, because there is still work to do, read the recent engraving of a word every fifty yuan), keep and do practical things and many clues, can be trusted also. Hope shangfu is lucky. On this, May 21!
