Xu Yuanshi was a scholar, erudite and talented, tired officials to the left chancellor, and the right chancellor was Xu Jingzong.
In the 2nd year of Long Shuo (662), Xu Yuanshi's son Xu Naturally killed people because of hunting and shooting, and Xu Yuanshi concealed this matter and did not report it. After the matter was leaked, Xu Jingzong said: "If people are like this, their sins cannot be condemned." ”
Xu Yuanshi was imprisoned for this, and a few months later, he was demoted to the title of Qian Prefecture (虔州, in modern Ganzhou, Jiangxi) and later to Xiang Prefecture (相州, in modern Linzhang, Henan).
During his stay in Xiangzhou, Xu Yuanshi relaxed his policies and benefited him a lot. Instead of pursuing the case, an official was exposed to corruption and bad deeds, but wrote a "clean poem" to the man, who was ashamed and embarrassed, changed his past wrongs, and became a good official who was honest and honest in performing official duties.
Later, Xu Yuanshi moved to Hubu Shangshu. In the 4th year of Yifeng (679), Xu Yuanshi died, with the nickname "Jian", and was posthumously given the title of Governor of Youzhou, and was buried with Qianling and Gongling.
Xu Yuanshi's granddaughter-in-law is the famous poet Li Bai.
Mrs. Xu was Li Bai's original match, and there is little historical information about her, and she is rarely mentioned in Li Bai's poems. Around the 16th year of the new century (728), Li Bai married Xu Shi, who bore Li Bai a son and a daughter: his son Li Boyao, nicknamed Mingyue Nu, and his daughter Li Pingyang. Shortly after Li Pingyang got married, Xu died.
Xu Jingzong's father, Xu Shanxin, was very dignified
Xu Jingzong, who had participated in Xu Yuan's book, was Xu Heng's grandson, a native of Xincheng (present-day Fuyang, Zhejiang).
Xu Jingzong's father, Xu Shanxin (許善心), was 9 years old when his father Xu Heng died, and he and his mother Fan Shi depended on each other. Xu Shanxin has been smart since childhood, and his memory is particularly good, and he can recite it when others read the book again. After Xu Heng's death, he left behind more than 10,000 volumes of books, and Xu Shanxin read them all over again.
After Yang Jian destroyed the Chen Dynasty, Xu Shanxin cried loudly in his mourning clothes for 3 days, and even Yang Jian had to write a letter to soothe his wounded heart.
Yang Jian appointed Xu Shanxin as a regular attendant of Tongzhi San, and Xu Shanxin saw Yang Jian the next day, crying on his stomach in his highness, so sad that he could not stand up. Yang Jian said to the people around him with great emotion: "I pacified Chen Guo, and I only got such a loyal subject. ”

Looking at Xu Shanxin's back, Yu Wenhua sighed and said, "This person doesn't know that there is a lot of resentment in his heart. He also ordered Xu Shanxin to be captured and killed.
When Xu Shanxin was killed, his mother Fan Shi was 92 years old. When curing the funeral for Xu Shanxin, Fan Shi did not cry, but stroked his son's coffin and said, "I really have a good son if I can die for the country." After that, Fan Shi was bedridden and did not eat, and died more than 10 days later.
What fan and Xu Shanxin did not expect was that Xu Shanxin was such a dignified person, and Xu Jingzong, who later became an extremely popular subject, would be a traitorous person.
