Chen Suzhen (April 30, 1918 – March 29, 1994), female, breast name: Pei Yu, former name: Wang Ruoyu. Ancestral home: Fuping, Shaanxi, born in: Kaifeng, Henan, lived in: Shaanxi, Hubei, Gansu, Hebei, and then settled in: Tianjin.
He has served as a member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a director of the China Dramatists Association, a vice chairman of the Henan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a deputy to the People's Congress of Henan Province, a vice chairman of the Henan Dramatists Association, an honorary chairman of the Hebei Dramatists Association, a member of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a vice chairman of the Tianjin Dramatists Association, an advisor to the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture, and a member of the Tianjin Performing Arts Committee.

Chen Suzhen is the oldest of the six famous Dans of Yu opera, the earliest from the art, the earliest master of Yu opera, because five of the six famous Dans of Yu opera are mainly singing, while Chen Suzhen is singing while playing, singing and dancing, singing, reading, doing, playing, dancing comprehensively, so it is the first of the six famous Dans of Chinese Yu opera.
