The "Exhibition of Paintings and Crafts for Elementary School Students" was held on the 25th anniversary of the friendship between Shaanxi Province and the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso

On October 22, the opening ceremony of the "Exhibition of Paintings and Crafts for Primary School Students" for the 25th anniversary of the friendship between Shaanxi Province and the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso was held in Yu. Cao Hui, full-time vice president of the Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Wang Huasheng, vice mayor, delivered speeches respectively.

Wang Huasheng pointed out that the primary school students in our city and the primary school students in The Greater Walzea and Nobres Cities in mato Grosso, Brazil, have created imaginative and sincere paintings and handicrafts with the theme of "Sister Cities in My Heart". The use of painting and handicraft as media for students from the two places has laid a good foundation for the schools of the two places to carry out friendly exchanges in more fields, and has also created favorable conditions for promoting "people-to-people communication" between the people of the two places.

At the meeting, Wang Huasheng signed a letter of intent on developing sister city relations with Greater Walzaya on behalf of our city. Yulin Gaoxin No. 4 Primary School signed a memorandum of friendship and exchange with Emmanuel Benedito de Arruda Basic Education School in Greater Walsaya.

Since Shaanxi Province and Mato Grosso concluded friendly province-state relations in 1996, the two sides have had close exchanges and frequent high-level visits. Yulin is an important node city of the "Belt and Road" and an important growth pole of Shaanxi Province's economy, and in recent years it has also maintained friendly exchanges with Brazil, and has achieved remarkable exchanges and cooperation results in the fields of economy, trade, culture and education.
