At about 11:00 a.m. on May 14, the Forest Protection Station of the Forestry Bureau of Zhaohua District, Guangyuan City, received a call from a resident saying that a wild deer had been found in the underground parking lot of the Oriental Pearl Community in the urban area of Zhaohua District. After receiving the call, the staff of the Forest Protection Station of the Forestry Bureau of Zhaohua District and the Comprehensive Unit of Forestry Administrative Law Enforcement immediately arrived at the scene for rescue.
Judged by the on-site rescue of the staff, the deer is a wild hairy crown deer, an adult female, due to the loss of the road mistakenly broke into the parking lot, the scene did not find the hairy crown deer injured, and the mental condition is good.
It is understood that the hairy crown deer is generally commonly known as the green chamois or green deer, which is a national second-level protected wild animal. After rescue, the staff of the Forestry Bureau of Zhaohua District took the hairy crested deer to the depths of the forest and released them into nature.
In recent years, with the efforts of Zhaohua foresters, the forest area of Zhaohua District is 80687.79 hectares, the forest coverage rate has reached 56.27%, and good results have been achieved in ecological environmental protection.
