Zhou Xinfang, born in 1895 in Qingjiangpu, Jiangsu (now Qingpu, Huai'an), lived in Hangzhou at the age of six with his father Zhou Weitang (playing Qingyi, stage name Jin Qinxian), and took the stage at the age of seven, with the stage name of Seven-year-old Child. In 1907, Zhou Xinfang took the stage in Shanghai, changed his stage name to Qilin Tong, and later became the founder of the QiPai of Peking Opera. In 1908, the 23-year-old Zhou Xinfang went to Beijing to develop, joined the largest Xilian Cheng class in Beijing, and shared the stage with Mei Lanfang and other famous actors of Peking Opera in Beijing. In 1912, Zhou Xinfang returned to Shanghai to take the stage, and after years of training, he finally became the first person in the field of Peking Opera on the beach.

In 1927, Zhou Xinfang joined the famous Nanguo Society Film and Drama Society, and became a comrade-in-arms on the front of the artistic revolution with Tian Han, Xu Zhimo, Xu Beihong, etc. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1959. In 1965, he was persecuted for being slandered as a "big poisonous weed" in "Hai Rui Shang Shu". On March 8, 1975, due to long-term persecution, he died in Shanghai Huashan Hospital.

Zhou Xinfang had two wives, as early as 1912, the 17-year-old Zhou Xinfang married Liu Fengjiao, the daughter of Liu Xiangyun of Wudan, through the introduction of people, and the two had a son and two daughters: the eldest son Zhou Picheng, the eldest daughter Zhou Caiyi, and the second daughter Zhou Caiping. And the only love of his life was his second wife, Julien. And the only thing Qiu Lilin has loved in this life is Zhou Xinfang, and she is still in love at first sight.

Qiu Lilin is the third lady of the famous Qiu Tianbao Silver Building in Shanghai Beach, and her maternal grandfather is a Customs officer of Scottish descent. Qiu Lilin's father, Qiu Yangshan, owned both Qianhe Tea Estate and Zhihe Qianzhuang. Qiu Yangshan died when Qiu Lilin was 8 years old, and his cemetery is 500 meters long and 60 meters wide, and there are two areas dedicated to worship in front of the tomb. This rare cemetery has made Qiu Yangshan famous, and although the cemetery was destroyed in the 1970s, it is still talked about from time to time by elderly people in nearby villages.

In the 1920s, Qiu Lilin was the chief celebrity in Shanghai's social circle. Among the fashionists in Shanghai Beach, she was also the first to comb the "fritters" hairstyle. She actively hosts and participates in charity events. Because of her beauty and charm, her suitors are constantly flowing. But when she watched Mr. Zhou's "Hongmen Banquet", she was deeply immersed in Mr. Zhou's charm. At that time, the status of the singers was not high. Therefore, of course, the Qiu family will not agree to the daughter being with Mr. Zhou, not to mention that Zhou is a husband with a wife. But despite her family's objections, Qiu Lilin eloped with Mr. Zhou in pajamas and slippers at night to Suzhou, where she was in the newspaper at the time. Because of her daughter's escape, her angry mother, Mary Rose, threatened to break away from Lillian. But soon after, she was forgiven again. After Qiu Lilin and Zhou Xinfang had three children, Zhou Xinfang and her ex-wife formally divorced, and Qiu Lilin and Zhou Xinfang held a wedding.

The two of them had six children in total, and their names were all found by Mr. Zhou in the Book of Poetry, which was very good. In 1947, in order to let her children get a better education, Qiu Lilin endured pain and flesh and bones, and sent her eldest daughter Zhou Caizao to the United States to study. In the following years, she sent several other children, except for her eldest son Zhou Shaolin, to Hong Kong and London. During the turbulent years, Jollyn was devastated, died of uremia early, and died on March 27, 1968. In 1985, the second daughter, Zhou Cairui, arranged the "Memorial Committee for Ms. Qiu Lilin" and the Shanghai Women's Federation held a memorial service for Qiu Lilin at No. 788 Changle Road. In 1995, the ashes of Qiu Lilin and Zhou Xinfang were buried together in the Longhua Martyrs Cemetery in Shanghai.

The eldest daughter, Zhou Caizao, is low-key, married to a wealthy businessman, and has been settling in the United States.

The second daughter, Zhou Caiyun, looked noble and elegant, was known as the school flower when she was in college, and later became a famous businessman and writer in the San Francisco area.
