In the face of the complex sampling environment and heavy sampling tasks, the team members always have no complaints, quickly put on protective clothing, wear masks and goggles, flexibly adjust the specimen collection process according to the scene situation, patiently soothe the nervous and anxious emotions of the collection object, and successfully solve various emergencies in the sampling process, and no case of infection of the team members has occurred.

On March 21, under the increasingly severe situation of the epidemic situation abroad, the sampling team members who had completed the sampling work of the CDC and were ready to return to work after a short rest received the second phase of sampling tasks and immediately went to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport to perform foreign-related sampling work. Because it is a "foreign-related" sampling, the language barrier has become a major problem in the work, and the team members use the rest time to seriously study commonly used sentences to provide guarantees for the smooth progress of the sampling work. Different from the first stage, this time it is a double specimen collection, and if necessary, intravenous blood collection is also carried out, and the contact time between the team members and the collection object is greatly extended, and the risk of infection is also greatly increased. The team members conducted risk assessment according to the epidemic situation in the country of origin, adjusted the level of protection in a timely manner, and conscientiously implemented the elimination to ensure the safety of sampling. By the end of the mission, more than 40 flights had been received, nearly 20,000 nasopharyngeal swab specimens and more than 1,500 blood samples had been collected, and 0 infections had been sampled.
In the face of the menacing epidemic situation, the team members sacrificed their small homes and protected everyone, taking them as a shield, building a solid defense line, and fully protecting the lives and safety of the people. In order to let the team members work with peace of mind on the front line, the hospital leaders have visited the front line many times to carry out condolences and send love and warmth to the families of the team members, and do their best to help solve practical difficulties and worries.
